I love this what are u talking about ? I just don’t like the dame package. He was locked up for years, he’s at the top of his game, we should have gotten close to a record return

Interesting factoid from last night’s game: Lillard had only 4 assists. The media hype around the trade was all about how the give-and-go from Lillard to Giannis would be so deadly, and yet there was very little of that in their first game together. I’m a little surprised that Lillard didn’t look for Giannis a little harder. As we all know, Dame Time is great when it’s working, but not so great when it’s not.

The sixers were closer when Dame / GA were playing together and it was not clear who had the ball in his hands. In the first half, the Bucks made their big run with GA out and Dame running the show, mostly because even without GA the Bucks roster seems like it has the tools to be a perfect Dame landing spot with all them big bodies that rebound, set picks and defend. Cronin did a great job giving Dame what he needed when even Dame did not understand what he needed.

As @Natebishop3 pointed out, Dame was playing off-ball with the starters. For some reason, Coach Griffin doesn't actually want Dame running the offense yet.

Giannis likes to bring the ball up full tilt boogie to the hoop.

As I was posting earlier, for much of the game when they were in at the same time, Dame wasn’t bringing the ball up the court. They had Giannis and Middleton doing that. Dame would just go sit on the three point line. They barely ran pick and rolls.

Dame did most of his damage when Gianni’s was off the floor.

Is that such a bad thing though?
Imagine having someone like Dame to take over when resting the mvp.
Or imagine having an mvp to give Dame some rest while are both on the floor?

i get the pock and roll aspect but if what they do works, does it matter?

Im all for Dame getting a ring there however they play him. As long as they win it doesn't deserve scrutiny HOW they win.

He actually didn’t make most of his shots. Was a off night for him from the field.

It almost didn’t work. They won by 1 point. I think the team is much more formidable with Dame running the show. Bucks fans agree. They’re not happy that GA brings the ball up and jacks up a shot. I saw a lot of posts saying that after the game in their forum.

It's amazing how much the west coast is literally not seen because of the time of game starts.

Yeah I mean a 7 or 730 start is 10 or 1030 on the east coast. A lot of people are already asleep by then. Meanwhile, a 430 start on the west coast is absurdly early and I never got to watch many teams in the east.
