I mean what awards are you thinking he'd even be in the conversation for?

If his confidence can be destroyed in game 2, then we have a bust on our hands. Scoot will be fine.

I’m hoping this is a blessing for Shaedon. I think most believe he should be the eventual starter at the 2. This gives him the opportunity. My fear is Chauncey still won’t do it.

Here’s hoping Ant makes a healthy recovery. When did it happen, anyway? No, I didn’t read an article… I’ll just wait for someone to tell my lazy ass.

I agree but wouldn't you rather put Scoot in a better position to succeed then make his job harder ?

Honestly not sure it matters but could see the logic IF Billups started Brogs over Sharpe

He’s right though? Why not start Sharpe at this point? If it’s a total train wreck then who really cares?

He literally tweeted two contradictory comments one after the other.

I think Sharpe starting is a nobrainer.

Stotts used to do it. He would stick with his rotation and plug next man up into the lineup.
Not saying it’s right in this case. Just that it is done quite a bit.

Where is this notion that Brogdon would take pressure off Scoot coming from?

I guess we’ll see? At least there shouldn’t be any real solid rotation? Let’s see what Billups does?

I’ve met him. Talked Blazers with him for about 15 minutes. Real decent guy and knows more about them than I do. That isn’t saying much but it’s fact.

With the Blazers brutal first 20 game road dominant schedule to start their season and factoring the Simons injury, is the 76’ers 0-18 record for futility to start a NBA season in jeopardy? I don’t foresee more than 1 game where Portland might be favoured until game 21 at the Moda versus Utah. Houston may also give them a run for their money!

I got an extra ticket tonight if anyone wants it. I’ll be taking the max down so can meet at MODA before the game. 300 level, nothing fancy. Just don’t want it to go to waste if anyone wants to go. Let me know :)
