Get well soon Ant! I do hope that Scoot and Shae play so well together that it just makes sense to bring Ant off the bench. That’s no shade on Ant, his shot has looked extremely good from everywhere this preseason and he was getting to the hole regularly as well. I just hate small back courts at this point but I love all three of our young guards and have love for Brogdon too even if I do want him traded by the trade deadline. Bottom line is we have four quality guards both as ball players and people. Sad to see any of them injured.

I think Nic was a starter from day one.

I'm pretty sure Martell Webster was supposed to start but was injured in the off season or preseason.

Bring him back right after we trade Brog and Grant, plenty of minutes then

I'm fine with that as well. It's Sharpe starting that I want to see. He needs to be given the green light to score against starters. I want to see what he can do in that situation.

That might be a good idea, to take pressure off young Scoot. Many successful NFL QBs don't start the 1st year, and many are ruined by being thrown into the fire.

But he has Lillard’s number and commonly refers to him as Damian Ollie Lamont Sr.

I mean he seems like an okay guy. But just tries too hard

Marang is a Simons addict. He'll say anything to make sure Sharpe doesn't steal Ant's street cred.

Scoot just needs to hoop. The second guessing is throwing off his rhythm.

Shaedon was getting buckets off broken sets. Portland had a lot of clumsy offense. Balls were getting poked and players were falling down everywhere.

My point is... Marang calls out the players, but has he ever called out Coach Billups ?? I'd like to see that tweet. If it exists, I bet there's holes in it. Walk around the divots.

Should have always been starting Scoot and Shae together. I don't mind the injury.

I agree that Scoot/Shae should have been starting together. But injuries involve pain and can also harm Simons career and earning ability. Never good with that. He is a good kid by all accounts, works hard. Luckily this is a rather routine injury and he will return 100%. Lets still root for a speedy recovery but still root for Scoot/Shae to put in the same work Simons has to get to the level of play he is at.

Westbrook was backing down on Ant, and somewhere in the wrestling match Simons got an ouchie. Ant was playing defense, just f.y.i.

So, you're saying Ant is allergic to defense :)
