I thought they couldn’t trade anything until 2028.

That's too complicated for me, but it looks like you're right.

I dunno how much of this is just for show, but Shaedons trainer has been posting vids of Sharpe getting shots up late in the night in empty gyms. Even last night at 1030p local for example.

Results on the court show that this extra work is... Working.

Good for Shae. Setting that culture now is very important.

We should all take a shot of tequila for every time the Sixers get a dunk and see who survives the night.

It’s funny how much Sharpe is a blank canvas personality wise. If you’re a fan who believes he is lazy and coasting off talent, it’ll look like that to you. If you think he’s an interior hoop head gym rat from Canada who just wants to win MVPs, it’ll look like that too.

From all reports it’s 100% the latter. Perception is everything.

Ehh…I think Brogdon has a higher chance of getting traded by the trade deadline than Grant does.

I got to see him opening night, and he looked so much better as an overall player, nearly a year after last time I saw him in person in the Indy game.

Another thing I noticed live was Shae was much better at not ball watching. He did have one time where his man cut to the basket (but missed the reverse layup) but other than that, he looked solid on that end as well. I was plowed out of my mind, so maybe I’m remembering wrong, but I did notice his off ball defense was remarkably improved.

Oubre Jr. "inspired" to play winning ball with the Philly franchise. -- just read an S.I. article that interviewed Kelly. He said the teams he played for (Hornets) have "no hope". Poured gas on the fire by suggesting (Charlotte) is a cruddy NBA atmosphere.

he's too skilled for his stuff to be JUST from natural talent. he's a hard worker too. And by all accounts, he's a sponge that picks up things very quickly after being taught it.

Just reading this post made my stomach turn a bit. I’m down with G&T’s all night, but can’t do the Tequila.

Embiid is listed as questionable (rest). It's the third game of the season, and the Sixers' home opener - and he's needing to sit out for rest?! Sucks for all those fans who paid to see the supposed MVP.

he's got it already. put up 23 shots last game. next stage in offensive development has to be getting to the line more, and shooting closer to 40% from 3.

the improvement in his handle from last year is staggering. my favorite development has been his playmaking though. had some pocket passes last game that surprised me.

My takeaways after 2 games (regardless of opponent):
    1) We eventually need Scoot to be an elite level PG, but right NOW, we need him to be an average PG. Hasn't happened yet.
    2) Love Ayton's rebounding, but need him to become the efficient 20/10 guy ASAP, which he is very capable of.
    3) One word: Defense.

I vomited in my mouth at that. don’t want a morris twin nor grammy batum. but grant for two first rounders is the obvious part of the deal for Portland. I’ve just never liked the morris twins and that suggestion was a new one to me.
