Why is Billups allowing anyone to collapse on Ayton? Is Ayton wearing concrete boots all of a sudden? I remember him running a fast break. Is the post up the only way to get the ball to Ayton?

 

Grant is shooting 11% from three this season. Let that sink in.

Scoot is shooting 12.5% from three.

Sharpe is shooting 29.4% from three.

Thybulle is shooting 28.6% from three.

Brogdon isn't on the floor with Ayton right now. The starting lineup is Scoot, Shaedon, Thybulle, Grant, and Ayton. None of the starters are shooting even 30% from three so far this year. That's why teams are swarming Ayton when he gets the ball in the post. They're not at all scared of the other four guys. And to your other point about Camara and Walker......

Camara has attempted a grand total of 4 three points this season.

Walker has attempted 2.

So throwing those guys out as good shooters is a little ridiculous because you have to look at volume.

Sharpe is our highest volume three point shooter at 17.

Brogdon has 11.

Grant has 9

Scoot has 8

Thybulle has 7.

 

How else do you force feed a big man?
