wemby having a rough time too. scoot looks undoubtedly bad right now. but i've watched enough crappy GLeague Ignite games to know what we're in store for once he figures out pace and space.

    "well, right now..."

I know it's 3 games in which is why I qualified what I said with the above. I also know what I've seen so far. And I've been watching the NBA for 50 years

I expected some rough patches for Scoot. I also expected some flashes of high potential. There's been plenty of the rough and none of the high. Sure, that could change tomorrow night; I'm hoping it does. And by the way, I'm not one of those calling Scoot a bust.

Chauncy doesn't even look like he wants to be here. Maybe that's just his personality, but he doesn't look engaged. He sorta has that "I don't care if I get fired" look. I don't like that he's the one at the reigns with this young team.

Nah. You're a Scoot hater because you made it personal. It was over the top.

We're an exhibition team everyone is going to love playing because it's an easy win.

The four teams with the worst record all have the same chance of winning the lottery now. Spurs won it last year being one of those four.

Sometimes we just look so lost on defense. Lack of communication.

I only have a 3 thoughts on this game and going to keep it simple :

    1) Grant needs to be traded ASAP and if Cronin can do that he will be a damn miracle worker cause on a winning team his style might work but on a rebuilding one -- NO just NO
    2) Camara -- When Grant is traded he needs to take his spot cause he might have his flaws but I would rather see him struggle then see Grant with the Ball -- EVER
    3) Billups -- Please Jody -- please eat the buyout fee and FIRE him-- he was a very good player one might argue borderline HoF player but as a coach he is average at best but even that is hard to say right now

I realize we were going to struggle but still not sure Billups is the guy to lead the rebuild --- I would rather take a flier on a up and coming college or NBA assistant ( prefer this option ) then continue to watch him be semi clueless on the bench.

His dad built him a gym to develop huis game.
He's young and should come off the bench for a while so he can collect his confidence.
He's been so hyped and marketed and I think he thought he would be better from the get go, and he a bit taken back imo. Let him compete off the bench in behind Brog then he can get a better feel and pace.

Lol it was never personal and I never made it personal. The Scoot fan club simply cannot take any criticism of him, so, they’d always quote me and I’d respond.

BTW - My criticisms, as of now, look pretty justified.

I have no idea why Tisse is still starting. Providing no defense, and his defender is only clogging the lane for Scoot more.

Maybe start another guy who is more of a threat to shoot/make? Toumani has earned the starting spot. I think it would also help Scoot.

Yes. I believe Toumani has the ability to get hot (if not be consistent) shooting 3-pointers.

I was in favor of matching the Mavs offer..... but at this point I'm really not sure if anyone will even take his contract from us.

I was listening to Bones and hoopsjock run down the team standings and we're bottom at almost everything except offensive rebounds and that's because we can't shoot. Our 3 pt percentage as a team is something like 28% and change if I reemember what they said correctly. This team is further from a core identity than any I can remember wearing the pinwheel. It's hard to cheer for.

We have some talented players though. We really shouldn't be THIS bad.

I mean 3 data points is the bare minimum to get an average. Stats dont mean shit after 3 games. Don't get me wrong, this team is beyond terrible...but not statistically.
