    I know he's young, but.....ehhh

A lot of guys came into the league at 20 and you could instantly see their talent. Scoot is just 1 year younger, and doesn't even look like he belongs in the NBA. I hope he is not yet another in a long line of Blazer busts. Sometimes I think this franchise is cursed.

I’m not calling Scoot a bust until I see him playing for a real coach, not whatever Playskool offense Billups is running

It's shocking he's playing this poorly considering paying in the g league. I don't think we could of drafted anyone else he was the guy who "fell" to us.

No one saw him being this bad, including Puma our Gm and ESPN putting him on the top 100

That being said he can still be good it's really early but shocking poor start, he won't be good this season it seems at all but let's see how he improves next year.

I just want to remind people how lost Shaedon looked at the start of last year. One year later and he looks legit.

It doesn't look like this guy was ready for the NBA. I just hope taking the jump too soon hurts hi.

Sharpe showed us glimpses of greatness, even if it was just his high flying ability. Scoot has shown absolutely nothing. Many of us are getting antsy waiting for him to show us ANYTHING…

Who the hell is telling Scoot to take 3-pointers instead of his dependable (to some degree) mid-range jumpers?
Those mid-rangers may not be super efficient, but at least have him mix them into his game like many star players do.
The mid-rangers can also turn into lobs once he starts making a few.

By the way, what happened to the lobs? Cutters? I've seen many times where a guy was open on the other side of the basket waiting for the ball.
Isn't that how you practice lobs? Wonder what Billups was doing. Does he care?
The young guys want to be in motion.

I miss Trendon Watford and Josh Hart. They were always looking for the lob.

I own that I thought this kid would come in and be ready from day one. I was wrong about that.

But holy shit people are trashing him after only three games. He’s 19. What did people expect this season?

He's young and needs to pay some dues, he's been so hyped and put on a pedestal by many he's lost some confidence. If coach was smart he'd bring him off the bench for a while. Just a thought...

It's a tough thing to balance. He needs reps. The only way he's gonna get used to the speed of the game is by playing......... but will it trash his confidence? It kinda seems like it already has.

Its absolutely fair to say Scoot has looked far worse than anyone has expected. Can he still be good one day? Yes. But let’s be honest no one expected for him to look this bad. Not being able to shoot 3s as a point guard in the modern nba is usually a death sentence for ones nba prospects. But that’s just one of his many faults so far. I think it’s best ti expect nothing from him at this point act as if he was a late second round pick and hope for the best in a few years.

Scoot is passing up shots. I'm watching the second half and he had some wide open looks on mid-range pullups and he's not pulling the trigger.

I would say he looked worse. Outside of some highlight dunks, he looked absolutely lost on both ends of the court. Really didn’t see the glimpses until the end of the season when the full tank was on.
