maybe Ayton will have some Spurs suck flashbacks, and turn Poeltl into mincemeat?

 

At the rate we are sucking so much, we are going to be the first team to get uninvited from the play in tournament because we are such a cakewalk.

 

I kind of want to see how Shaedon Sharpe is received in Canada?
London is pretty close to Toronto.

 

I predict big games by Sharpe and Ayton, and the first hint of Scoot playing well.

 

I did it... I looked at team stats. While 3 games isn't a good baseline, I had to take a sneak peek.
a few observations:
- Blazers 27th in FG%, (38%)
- Blazers dead last shooting 3's (27%)
- Jabari Walker 9ppg, scores more then Ayton 8.3
- Shaedon is top Blazer, 19/4/2, hellz yah
- Blazers 10th in shots taken. That'll be a major selling point. Top ten in attempts per game. Put it on a poster. Chauncey gets this team playing hard. Shoot shoot shoot.

 

My goal for this game is to lose by single digits.

 

3rd or something in the league in offensive rebounds, at least. Oh wait, that's only because we brick so many shots...

London, Ontario, Canada is a city between Toronto and Detroit. Maybe you knew that but you have so many terrible takes that you really should use green if you're being sarcastic.

 

scoot needs to remain calm and dont let gibberish (which will undoubtedly happen, even from our own fans) get to him

he might become frustrated and force things, but ideally he should let the game come to him naturally, were in no hurry with him or as a team to win games

there is no need for him to put a 20+ pts & 7/8 ast performance, but rather make small steps by making good things happen every game, whether itd be creating his own shot (doesnt even need to score), controlling the tempo of the game, his own pace, recognizing the defense and opportunity when to slash, recognizing when teammates are in a good position to recieve a pass etc, just putting building blocks in place and these things will gradually improve

 

There is one on four continents actually.

 

Is Billups even trying? Grant's field goal attempts have gone up every game (12 - 14 - 16) while getting Ayton involved seems like a fantasy where I expected it to be a given.
I guess it Ayton gonna happen while Chauncey is in charge.

hopefully front office is aware that we cannot fuck up this rebuild

unfortunately, the team is one big mess and it starts with the head coach chauncey billups, but there are other two problems (grant & brogdon) that need to get solved, we cant afford them taking shots from sharpe/scoot/ayton

obviously, we need to keep simons as insurance for scoot, but if scoot pan out as we all expect, simons will get traded too, he has no long term future on this team (unless we play sharpe at the three)

 

I thought that was one of the main things this season would be about. It's not happening. Say it Ayton so!
