Bucks will be alright. They need time to build chemistry. Not the team you want to see in the playoffs regardless of seeding.
I wonder if Adrian Griffin will be the coach by the end of the season. The weird Stotts thing was a warning sign, maybe
I am not so sure about that. Do you think Spoelstra, who has a proven system, would be more inclined to let Dame be Dame, as opposed to a rookie head coach? Having said that Spoelstra is one of the best coaches in the league, so maybe he would adapt better, but he does demand defense and I never thought Dame was a perfect fit there. Either place was going to have growing pains IMO
Well of course... When 25% of your sample is a 50-point win, you'll look like worldbeaters. Will Boston win 20 of their games by 50 or more? What a meaningless cherry-picked stat.
Apparently (according to the r/NBA posters) the coach isn't letting Dame call his own plays on the court, so he's not initiating the offense very much. And you know when Dame checks out emotionally, he's just kind of a lump out there. Add in Denis Schoeder who has always been a Dame killer, and you've got all the makings of a big loss. Bucks fans are learning just how bad Dame is on defense though, which is fun.
Honestly it's really hard to build a good defensive team with Lillard as your starting point guard He's just terrible on the defensive end, no other way to put it He's short Doesn't have defensive instincts Not good at fighting over screens Doesn't take many charges or make steals Any team in the playoffs can make the offensive plan based on attacking Lillard
It never ceases to amaze me how seemingly intelligent basketball minds can overlook, or talk themselves out of the importance of, how massive a step back Milwaukee's defense would be, going from Jrue to Dame.
I am sure Dame can take some blame but the fact Stotts left before the regular season started says a lot cause while it was time for him to go when he left the Blazers I still like him and wish the best for him. I think Stotts saw this coming and was like -- I am out but I will admit UNLESS we hear something like he left for health reasons looks bad cause he should have stayed and helped not bailed. In the end the Bucks and Dame will be fine but I am surprised the Bucks and Blazers have the same amount of wins this early on -- LOL
Should have? I have no issues what-so-ever with his decision to leave. He did not like something there for whatever reason, and luckily for him, he does not have to stay, so good on him for looking for #1. Sounds like there were issues between him and the HC - why stay at a place you don't feel appreciated if you do not need to?
This coach seems like he thinks he can hold the reigns really tight, which doesn’t work on a team full of veterans and superstars.
The Bucks need to fire their shitty coach. I said it before and I’ll say it again, he has no clue how to use Dame. He’s alternating Dame and Giannis on the court. Is makes no sense.
all that and how bout "desire", watching the knicks game now and he just stands around almost all the time on D and does nothing, man so glad he and his contract are gone.
