<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Titans | Team may trade McNairSun, 30 Apr 2006 11:48:30 -0700Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans QB Steve McNair could be traded to the Baltimore Ravens at some point Sunday, April 30, according to his agent Bus Cook. Cook said both teams have discussed trade possibilities. Cook added, "I think there will be a trade done some time today, probably sooner than later. McNair is aware of the talks. He'll be fine to move on. The Ravens are a very competitive team. He can take them to the Super Bowl. He is getting ready to go to Baltimore."</div>Come to Baltimore Mcnair!
Yes, come to Baltimore McNair.ESPN said that they broke off trades cause the Ravens are lowballing since they know he would probably get released either way.
So we are going to trade Boller who is going to have a breakout season for a injury rittled quarterback nearing the end of his career?Great.

Oh yeah...Mcnair>Boller

Yea, McNair may be better now. But how many seasons does he have left? Was he not contemplating retirement last year?
I doubt Boller will ever break out into the top 20 pick he was. I hope he does have some success though in the NFL, with or without the Ravens.
I dunno if it's worth giving up a 2nd.3rd round pick if you know he's going to be released sooner or later. He might learn the playbook faster but they have serious needs to address since everyone of the line, Pryce, Anderson, Mason, and Ray Lewis will be one year older.
There was an article about it on the TOMB, it was a done deal before the draft if the Ravens would've given up a 4th rounder, but the most they would give up is a 5th rounder. This is good news/bad news for me as a Titan & McNair fan. On one hand, maybe this will make Bus Cook & Steve McNair realize that he isn't worth as much as he thinks he is and he'll be more willing to take a pay cut & stay a Titan. On the other hand, since the deal didn't go through, we may end up getting nothing for him and having to release him anyway. His arbitration hearing is set for the 15th, so we'll likely know a lot more about it then.BTW, McNair > Collins > Boller/Wright IMO
