keeping Brogdon? I like the idea, this team needs a veteran, a captain.

Though the Front Office probably has a different take. Malcolm might be worth waivable scrubs and a draft pick. There might be a keeper involved involved in the package.

Young players & picks. Brogdon is too old. Only temporary membership for the Blazers sorority frat pack. Yer my boy Blue

I wouldn't think about trading Ant until we see Scoot develop into a player we know we want to hold down the PG position for the next 12 years. And by that time we'll have a good view on how they play together. They might end up having better chemistry than Dame and CJ. But right now, Simons is a better PG and SG than Scoot. Scoot is one of the worst players in the league right now.

And we don't know what upcoming drafts will bring in. This talk reminds me of passing on Chris Paul because we already had Telfair.

Brogdon, he obviously needs to be traded. Feb 2025 at the latest.

Brogdon will likely be traded. Sure, he can be a conducive veteran presence. Really, it seems he is here to keep the mess from looking worse than it is and to clean up games to net wins here and there and help neaten losses, making those games look better than they are.

Sometimes, his game is lucid. He is making shots, playing good D, helping us win, and looking like the reigning sixth man. Other times he seems dejected and lost in the disarray that is this raw and often dysfunctional team.

The Blazers need more game time for their young players to develop. That said, Scoot and Ant playing together doesn't seem to work very well. Maybe more time playing together will fix that.
