    maybe true

    he'll be 32 when he's shopping for his next contract and will have made over 125M in his career. If he can get a 2-3 year deal at 10M/year, taking him to 34-35, he'll very likely take sign the deal. But I'd question how much fire he has to play for 5M/year or less, or even a vet minimum, especially if he has another major injury or two or three nagging ones

    What impresses me about this comment is how much I honestly believe that he is only in this for his contracts and public image rather than actually competing for a championship. I have always got that feel from him.

    I won't pretend know Nurk's motivations, but with that said, I had never seen @THE HCP talk bad about a Blazer after they leave the team until recently with Nurk. Not that HCP's opinions are special, but being around these players constantly does lend a little extra credence in my eyes.
