As I'm sure you saw, the question was posed on if I thought Vince would be a faster, bigger, version of Vick with a stronger arm.The answer is that his arm isn't near as strong, his legs not near as fast. He's more comparable to Kyle Boller or Donovan McNabb.</div>So technically you're right, you just made it sound like Young wouldn't be able to hold a candle to Vick when it's clear that VY is way ahead of where Vick was coming out of college.

You don't want a Kyle Boller comparison! (coming from a Ravens fan)

apparently, brad smith will try out for QB (i assume 3rd) but is willing to accept being switched to WR or RB

Not to mention that I doubt he graduated, especially since he left early.
OK, let me rephrase... you think a High School Grad should be able to do 5th grade math, yes?
So technically you're right, you just made it sound like Young wouldn't be able to hold a candle to Vick when it's clear that VY is way ahead of where Vick was coming out of college.
Well obviously things like Field Vision, Leadership, Accuracy, etc, etc all play into it. But if you are going to compare him to a QB in the NFL, it's McNabb, Boller, Culpepper. Not Vick.Just because he's black and is a running QB, doesn't mean he's a Mike Vick type QB.
apparently, brad smith will try out for QB (i assume 3rd) but is willing to accept being switched to WR or RB
IMO, we should cut Ramsey. It was a waste of a 6th round pick to do so, yes, but I prefer Brooksie to Ramsey, and with Clemens on the roster now, someone is going to have to be cut. Have Penny be the starter, Brooksie and Clemens battle for the backup spot, and Smith can be our emergency QB.

i agree that Ramsey should be cut...i think that he cant do anything for us...only way he plays if Penny is injured and that would screw us nayway...at least young QB (Clemens, brad smith) can improve and maybe eventually take over

Reggie Mcneal is gonna be the best conversion IMO. He has great athletic ability and blazing speed.

I agree though, he's definitely more in the mold of a McNabb, Culpepper, and of course the beloved Steve McNair.

The current McNair gets through 3 or 4 options before running, Vince gets through 1.

Vince Young will suck plain and simple. I dunno which player will have the best conversion, but I hope Marques Hagans can return well. I doubt he'll even be our 5th receiver, but he should be able to return punts over McDonald, who lost us 2 games last season muffing punt returns.
