I am OK with Grant taking 25 shots IF that is the way of building his trade value.

However, if you want to have him as a veteran, born in Portland, nice guy, how his heavy ISO and youngs watching him from the corners exactly helps this developing team? Serious question.

I think they want another star, not Brogdon and Grant.

It does not seem like enough for a star. But you may be right, Morey will probably think he can get a star.

I do think that Brogdon would fit well with Maxey. And I think Grant would fit well next to Embiid. All of those picks are nice, but unless they lead to yet another trade it just pushes our time line back even further not getting any players back in return.

I know it's super squishy, but would that have been a better deal than what we got from Boston?

Given what just happened to KOJr, maybe they want a player more now than before…

Yeah, I could see them giving us a two FRPs and salary filler in which there is talent for Malcolm and we could see it tomorrow. Who fits better next to Maxey in a back court? Who is better setting up either Embiid or Maxey, scoring open threes when playing off them and defending at an all nba level?

I think the 76ers want LaVine.

Trouble is, their trade chips are the players they got from the Clippers and (a) they can't be traded for a while, and (b) they're Batum, Marcus Morris and Robert Covington. Now, granted they're all on 1 yr contracts, so it would clear a lot of cap space for us, but I think Philly would actually rather have that cap space coming up than Grant and Brogdon.

We think Braxton Reynolds is deluded.

Zach LaVine/Joel Embiid duo would be dynamite!

    Grant through 17 games:
    23.4/4.0/2.3 on .451/.426/.816

His FG% is continuing to climb.

He's an asset. I don't buy the hype that he's untradable. We aren't giving him away.

Since Aminu, Davis, LA, Grants the best 4 we've had that can drive, shoot & get to the line.

2 mid-level 1sts would probably be my asking price as well if there are no desirable players on the market. But I’d honestly prefer 1 pick and a player.

I still think a Grant for Cam trade makes a ton of sense for both sides. If we could get one of the 6ers or Suns picks + Cam + another expiring vet for Grant near the deadline, I would take the deal.

We should talk about teams who might be willing to move young players to try and go up a level. Do the Kings offer Keegan Murray? Do the Rockets offer Season? Pacers with Jarace Walker?

Walker, Hield, and a top 10 protected pick this year for Grant, I’d be all on board with. It’s a shame Indy can’t find a way to get that guy on the court. Hendricks has also seen a grand total of 2 minutes this season.

I don't want Walker, but only because I continously mispronounce his first name in my head. Otherwise, I think he's a perfect target.

Pacers are still my #1 target for a Grant trade.
I don't think they would give up Walker, but maybe:

    Grant + Brown
    for
Heild + Toppin + '24 1st (worst of Utah, Hou, LAC, OKC), '25 1st Indiana

Id then look for another trade for Buddy
