Why? We’re rebuilding. We have absolutely no need for Zach LaVine.

It's official. I fucking despise our TV announcers. If I stop posting here, you can safely assume I blew my fucking brains out during a broadcast.

they need some excitement. The upper deck looked completely empty. Can't blame fans for not showing up.

it's too late to match the OKC model because Cronin got nothing similar to SGA for Dame

If they made a movie about our season so far, what would the title be?

I’m going to go with - The Lost Boys

glad I tuned out like Riveman. Might be a first for me too

this is a bad team. Scoot will come back but I doubt he has much positive impact this season. He's too raw IMO. Brogdon will help, a little. Ant will help the offense and hurt the defense. Williams might not have much of an NBA future and if he does, it won't start for a year

in other words, even if Portland gets healthy they won't be significantly better. IIRC I said 33-34 wins this year. Pretty sure I was aiming way too high

The bright side is that this wasn’t a tournament game though.

what's also frustrating is the fact that all the top rookies: Wembanyama, Chet and Miller (scored 29 Points the other night) have been really good, except for our guy of course. He isn't even playing, and when he was playing he was big big trash. And i'm starting to doubt Shaedon, with that lineup he should be averaging a lot more. I dont know if he really can be a star in the league, i dont know if he wants to be

I went to this game and witnessed it in person. The game was a lot closer than the score indicated. With a few buckets here and there, the Blazers could have easily made it only a 30 point loss.

This isn't a personal attack. For those of you who called for a rebuild before Dame asked out and are now complaining, you are too fucking weak for what you asked for. For everyone else, chill the fuck out. Shaedon looks like he'll be an all star in two seasons, we haven't seen enough of Scoot, Deandre has already proven that on a good team he can be a very good starting C and give it some fucking time.

The team that just beat the shit out of us gave it some fucking time.

We said fatigue is contributing to the lack of player movement, and shot making. Playing a team that’s significantly better than you are on the second night of a back to back is not a trap. A trap is when you overlook the opponent for whatever reason. They shouldn’t be overlooking anyone.

Blazers Radio gets the Golden Shopping cart award tonight. The TV crew totally checked out by the 4th, started drawing lists of their favorite players on napkins.

Not sure how all the sudden not just you but @Strenuus as well are only 13 games into a rebuild? This shit has been going on now for 2 full years? This is 2 years and 13 games into a rebuild.
Now everyone is content to go another 3 years? They are now 3-10 and will most likely have the worst record in the entire league If the Wizards can win a few.
I can't believe I just likened the Portland Trailblazers to the Washington Wizards.

it is a bit demoralizing to see all those rookies performing well with ours most likely being injury prone and not good but I will say keep your head up.

I’ll give Sharpe a pass for now since he’s been playing heavy minutes while injured with g leauge point guards.

it might take 10 years of Drafting busts but eventually Jody will sell the team ,we will get competent ownership and leadership , and will draft a star.

Well, I mean I think trading Dame was the official start of the rebuild. But that’s just me. The past 2 years and up until the draft this year, they were trying to put a roster around Dame to win.

That’s a fair take I guess. Everything before that could be called a retooling.

Attended the game with kids and grandkids, first game in about 7 years or so.
I thought they started out with energy and went inside to Ayton a couple times. But he's seems more comfortable at the elbow and he struggles down low with the ball in his hands.
I liked both Walker and Camaras hustle and play.
