one other thing.....The Thunder I guess are the best three point shooting team in the league as of now, they were deadly behind the arc.

10 wins, second in the west, yes they are rolling. Oh but a different coach would have made a difference lol.

I have a great tweet showing that, but it has a cartoon picture, and I know how much that pisses people off on here. I think we are only allowed to post tweet with graphs.

Historic. Done the proper way, thru the draft and quality trades that took time to pay out.

Tomorrow we will secure worst in the west and by next week worst in the NBA. What a joke.

I think Portland set a new record for biting on pumpfakes last night. Add in overplay passing lanes. All the Blazers turned into a Eubanks/Thybulle hybrid, and it seemed like the Thunder took advantage of the hyper-aggressive 'not normal, played against men' defense.

I expected Ayton's own teammates and coach would have figured out how and where to get the ball to him by now.

In just one game against Detroit in 20 minutes Scoot displayed most of them.

    1. Lob where Ayton is running and clearly ahead of his defenders. (not surrounded by defenders like Mays tried to do last night.)
    2. Pass to Ayton at the free-throw line. He can even be stationary there if the defenders have moved away from the free-throw line to follow the ball.
    3. Collapse the defense under the hoop and throw the ball to Ayton running down the middle
    4. A particularly deadly one, where Ayton is on the other side of the court and the defense has to react to the approaching ball handler.
The big man for the other team usually will leave Ayton to help on the ball.
Why aren't the Blazers running this over and over? The pass doesn't need to be perfect in this situation.
Shaedon Sharpe is also completely uncovered in the corner.

It's over for the defense. Just need a decent pass UP in the air for Ayton to catch.

The Spurs with Wemby ARE in last place right now.
    Isn't that a bigger joke?
The Blazers are missing Scoot, Brogdon and Simons.

I have no idea what the hell you're talking about with that first sentence. Cason Wallace was out there for over twenty minutes and played solid D against our guys who are pretty easy to defend but other than that he was a non factor. The only other guy that qualifies as a rookie was drafted in 2022 and had to sit for a full season... imagine how much more "demoralizing" it would be if we knew we weren't going to see Scoot play again for a year.

Anyone who thinks Scoot is "most likely not good" isn't thinking very well. The dude played 17 games in the GLeague over the last two years, he needs time to learn the game... mostly just to figure out the speed of the NBA game. As far as injury prone goes, it's way way too early to say that too... dude hurt his shoulder and then his ankle both of which the team is taking a long ass time having him come back from not because they're severe injuries but just out of an abundance of caution.

There's only 83% of the season left for OKC so let's just give them this NBA record right now.
