The carbon fee and dividend has been fairly thoroughly vetted.

There are even Republicans who support it. Expanding it to other harmful environmental processes was my idea.

But the fee and dividend isn't difficult, and would be the least expensive environmental solution our government has likely ever taken. And very possibly the most effective.

But I understand that not everyone thinks that's as important as I do.

At least Ukraine doesn't have to resort to recruiting out of prisons and desperately poor minorities for their cannon fodder..

They are a country based on lies. As far as I have seen, no Abrams even used in combat yet. They also have claimed to have destroyed more HIMARs than are there and there is not even one confirmed hit. They claim to have destroyed more MIG fighter planes than Ukraine even has.

It's crazy how things happen. Like when Kim Jong-Il hit several holes in one his first time holding a golf club .

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks to all of you for answering to the ignorant posts by a couple posters here. The funny thing is, they post russian propaganda without compensation while trolls all over the world are being paid big bucks by the russians.

BBC video report from Avdiivka, Ukraine, which is now the center of hostilities. russians taking huge losses there in their desperate attempt to take an insignificant town, averaging 7000 dead a week over the last 3 weeks. Why does Ukraine bother defending it. They are very well dug in and have fire control over all approaches. Of course the russians are destroying the city, where their supposedly russian people live.
(sorry that was just three weeks, not 33!)

They're dragging young men off the street at gunpoint. And now they are resorting to forcing older people to fight.

And I don't think any of this would be happening if the US hadn't meddled, with the coup, pushing NATO eastward, sabotaging peace talks etc. This isn't monday morning quarterbacking either. Several top officials crafted a policy paper in the early 90s warning that if we continue exanding eastward it would trigger Russia. And that's exactly what happened.

Ukraine's man power is depleted. This is utterly disgusting. The Western coverage has been a massive lie, and the lives of Ukrainians were used as pawns in the global games of the US.

Ukraine's man power is not even close to being depleted. It is estimated they have had about 100,000 casualties, out of a population of 36,000,000, or 0.3%.

The reason for the higher average age of the Ukranian soldiers is because most of the civilians called to service had prior military service and training. Much like the USA during the Korean War, calling up WW2 vets.

And why do you think they're dipping into their older population? No, that is not normal. In WW2 the average age of a US serviceman was 26. It seems the casualties have been under-reported.

Also not sure why you would cite the entire population of Ukraine. How many of those 36 million are men of typical fighting age, between 20 and 30?

If you don't understand that a nation with a population of 36 million doesn't have anywhere close to a pool of 36 million from which to draw a military force...wow. The only other part of my post, which must be "the rest" you are speaking of...was simply relaying the fact that the average age of a US serviceman was 26, to counter the false comparison you made.

Logic is obviously not your strong point.

Son, you are turning faulty propaganda into a total train wreck. You need a clue.

WW2 ended in 1945, the Korean war ended in 1953.

How old was your 26 year old WW2 soldier when he fought in Korea? Keep in mind, many were older.

The reason both the USA and Ukraine called up older vets was the same reason nba teams have older savvy vets on their team, to be mentors.

No country would draft young men, then in two weeks, have these untrained, poorly equiped raw recruits fighting at their badly organized battle front, without mentors. That would result in an extremely high casualty rate. Oh wait, that is Russia's battle plan.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

I stated that the average age of the Ukrainian soldier is 43. You stated that was not dissimilar to the age of our soldiers in ww2, I clearly refuted your point by stating the actual age of soldiers in ww2 was 26.

The average age was not 43 at the start of the war, it increased to do DEATH OF YOUNG UKRANIAN SOLDIERS.

I am going to do something I have never done before.

I have a policy of taking time to study every point of view, especially those opposite of mine. That is how I learn.

Sometimes, discussions between friends becomes too heated to continue. Best to cool off and stay friends.

One thing I will never tolerate is an endless stream of lies. Your posts are lies.

First time ever to ban soneone.

See their name under their picture? He doesn't have a picture but you can see the box where it should, click on their name, it will bring up a box, click on the word Ignore.

The average fighting age of Ukrainian troops is skewed because of a platoon of 120yr old Nazis that have been secretly fighting for Obama against Russia.

If you don't count them the average age of Ukrainian soldiers is 3yrs old.

They're known as the Meth Baby Brigade!
