What does that have to do with anything. In the NHL playoffs there are upsets all the time. No clue how this will play out, but the Rangers look like a very good team, and can be right there. Just like every team in the NHL playoffs, they could also lose in the 1st round.

Will they win a Cup, who knows in November, but that isn't the point at the moment after 19 games. The point is this team is doing a lot of things really well and has been great so far. We all should enjoy the exciting journey.

Another big win, parts of the game were absolutely dominated by the rangers . Vs the bruins, still considered one of the best even tho they had a first round knockout.

    go rangers

Special teams win championships. I swear, the bar has been lowered beyond belief by candy ass NY fans. There was a time in this area when anything less for a NY team than a championship was a failure. Now, a lot of NY fans are happy with a good regular season and a couple of playoff round wins. You would think this is fucking St. Louis. One cup in 85 years. Anything less than a cup for the Rangers is a failure. Period.

Penalties need to be limited a bit but otherwise a very good start to the year.

I’m enjoying the season, but ultimately if you don’t win the Stanley Cup, no one gives a fuck. I couldn’t tell you all the players on the team that lost in the finals with Henrik. However, I could tell you everybody on the 1994 team.

I see it as a great start to the first quarter of the season. In fact the best in their history. That said anything can happen in the 75% of the season that remains. Knock on wood no major injuries because obviously, they have weathered the Fox and Chytil injuries without missing a beat.

Changes from last season due to having a real coach with a system…….Faceoffs, exiting from D zone, forecheck and getting thru to Laf! EXTEND LAVS NOW!

Yes winning it all is the goal

you don’t win the season, is failure

I agree with that to an extent

even the great Derek Jeter said it

but the constant reminding us about it makes me think of Erving Feffer in Along came Polly..

it’s not about what happened in the past , or what happens in the future. It’s the ride for Christs sake. There is no point in going through this crap IF YOURE NOT GOING TO ENJOY THE RIDE.

After perhaps your worst prediction in decades early in the season regarding the West Coast trip thought you might lay low and eat a little humble pie for a bit dumpy but to your credit you're doubling down. Instead of waiting for the end of the season to gloat if the Rangers fall short you're going to squat over the celebratory punch bowl all season dropping dukes whenever a success starved fan comes over for a sip. You're beyond the horse whip. I've just told Santa to bring you an autographed copy of Adrian Peterson's "Guide to Proper Switch Cutting and Sizing" so you can self discipline whenever the urge to be a New Year's noodge comes along.
