Is there any way Billups can get some more shots for the Big Guy?
Grant, Brogdon, and Sharpe took multiples of shots more than Ayton did.
Grant and Sharpe about 3 X more and Brogdon about 4 X more shots than Ayton.

23 shots for 18 points is lousy. Yes, Brogdon had 12 assists, but he also missed 16 shots, which is about 3X more than Ayton even attempted.

Adam Silver doesn’t want us to win! The refs have it out for us! It’s Billup’s fault!
Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit!
Nobody mentioned Chauncey ONCE until they lost the lead and then hammered him.
It wasn’t his fault we were UP 20 something?
At least have the sense to be reasonable and realistic. This fucking place!!!!

I missed the game because my wife decided she was a better manager of my Sunday than I was...

but it looks like the Blazers played 3 great Q's and one bad Q....and the bad Q was enough to wipe out the 3 other Q's. What happened in the 4th Q?

    note: I see Brogdon + Sharpe scored 35 points on 42 shots....yeeeeesh

Well, it’s a bit of an oversimplification, but they stopped making shots. From OLive:
“The Blazers, the worst three-point shooting team in the NBA, went 10 of 17 on threes in the first half to go up 68-52 at halftime. But they went 2 of 8 in the third and 1 of 7 in the fourth.”

The Bucks slowed the Blazers down, there were some questionable calls, guys started playing one on one instead of the free-flowing offense of the first half, and suddenly the lead had evaporated. Young team doing what young teams do: implode under pressure.

Just happy to see Jerami show his value on both ends. Happy to see Malcolm continue to prove that he is a top level lead guard in this league that brings both size and defense to the position. I also liked the defense we got from Matisse, he's allowed to have some off nights on offense.

These are the guys that will help us continue to accrue assets for our rebuild at or around the trade deadline. As far as the guys that I'm hoping are here for the long haul go, Scoot had a nice shooting night which is good to see. Shaedon continued his shooting slump but also continued to find other ways to positively impact the game. Deandre had a double double again with a couple of blocked shots while BroLo had one of his least effective games in a while on offense. Toumani and Jabari once again showed why they'll eventually be the backbone of our bench, it didn't show up in the box score but those guys just impact the game positively in so many ways.

You gotta be kidding me. You want to tank for the third season in a row? That’s loser talk.

If tanking gets us a future star, that’s actually winning talk. Loser talk is doing nothing to substantially improve the team.

I dispute "stun". The whole thing had an air of inevitability about it. I would've been shocked if they HADN'T come back.

In case you're new here, I was pretty clear about wanting to keep a Top75 player and go for it because I thought it was really important to have an elite player on the roster if we wanted to win. We did not go that direction, which I understand, and since there is nobody on this roster that I would project will be an all-star, I think it is important we increase our talent this summer.

I think wanting to win 35 games this year and not have a real chance to add a future all-star to the roster would really be loser talk.

I agree. It should be the Blazers stun the NBA by leading a contender by 26 on the road.

Yeah you gotta go all in one way or another. I hate losing as much as the next guy but there just doesn't seem to be any other choice at this point.

Blazers fans have ref blaming ammo. We're going off Billups post game presser. This game, like every game, was a "learning experience". Ignore the bad play calling, the hopeless airballs from deep, the wild ISO's that kept getting blocked, bad officiating is why the Blazers lost.
