Hopefully Vince Young will sit.

Young's speed is comparable to McNabb's, Culpepper's, Boller's, etc. None of them could ever be running QB's in the NFL like Vick is. They would be killed if they were the run first type of player, as will Young if he tries.

Jeff Fisher and the Titans FO has said that he will probably not play significant time this year, but the thought of playing him is tempting. While we would probably have a better chance at winning more w/Young starting than Volek, it is better in the long run for him to sit a year and be a regular starter next year at the earliest. I think best-case scenario for VY's long-term success is to sit this year, maybe get some mop-up duties a game or two. Start getting worked into the starting lineup some in 2007, be full-time starter in 2008.

His playing style would be a better comparison to McNabb as you said, because he doesn't have blazing speed, but he can make plays with his legs if he has to.

Plus, Vick makes the Pro Bowl all the time. I know that's mainly because of his legs, and Vince doesn't have them. At the least, I do hope he is average. At the most, I hope he's a great quarterback. You people have a problem with me liking a player?

If Boller runs a 4.4, he should be a better player. But then again, he drops the ball without getting hit.....
