Barry Sanders, simply because he did so much with so little around him and he was a very humble man and played the game the way it was suppose to be played.
My favorite player is Clinton Portis, no doubt. The guy is everything a Redskins fan would want in a player, he's so fun to watch on the feild, whether through his blocks, runs, throws or catches or celebrations after the TD, the guy just pulls so much out of me when watching the game. And in his interviews during the week he never gets down on the team, even when they are facing some bad times, he is always optimistic about the next game and never hangs his head. He really knows how to boost the team/fan's morale, I see him as the face of this organization. From the first handoff he ever took (64 yards, went for a TD), I knew this guy was going to lead my team to great heights.
There is a couple, because I can't limit myself to just one in the history of the game. One they I never saw play live but have seen his game films and highlights is Jack Tatum, he personifies everything I think footballis about.Another one of my favorites is Jesse "The Hammer" Tuggle, I watched him as a kid growing up and he was the definition of LB if he never gets into the hall I will lose TONS of respect for both the Hall and the NFLyet another defensive player is Ray Lewis, possibly the greastest LB of all time, he brings that fire to a team that affects every single one of his teammates, makes his team better not only through his play but through his attitude and intesity, and yet another player who personifies what a football player should beMike Vick is another one of my favorites, he has yet to cease to amaze me, the definition of clutch fits into his iname pretty well as he continues to gel with his young wideouts he could be one of the best we have seenThese are my favorites of all time as of now
This might sound a little wack but my favorite player is Chad Jackson, a guy who hasn't played a down yet. He was my favorite college football player and when he went on the Patriots I was estatic. I love his game because he's big, fast, and has good hands. I hope for some long good year with the Patriots and this kid.

He's the latest Monster of the Midway
Ben Roethlisberger, of course. This guy just knows how to managed a game, he's only getting better, god who knows how many Super Bowl rings he will have by the time he call it quits. This guy is just good as they say.

Ray Lewis. The best LB I seen since the LT days. Not only that, but he was one of the reasons we won the superbowl in 2000. He's a phenomenal player and makes players around him better.
Donovan McNabb because he's a playmaker and a warrior. He makes something out of nothing like in the dallas game. He's just amazing to me.

TE - Antonio GatesThe dude is just dominant, in my opinion he is better then Tony Gonzales and is a major reason for San Diego's success these past two years. He's basically a wideout but bigger and stronger. He has definitely been my favorite player to watch and I'm sure that'll continue again this year.
Jonathan Vilma - a combination of Urlacher and Lewis, has Urlachers speed and coverage, with Lewis' intensity and power. Will be the greatest LB in Jets history and a HOF linebacker...plus, he was the 1st draft pick that 100% of Jets fans agreed upon
