Tkachuk has been running over this team for about 4 games straight. I hope Trouba sends a message tonight.
Like I said before they need to think really hard about investing more years into Igor. This money can be used somewhere else. Don't need another highest paid goalie in the league and show nothing for it.
His team is playing like dog shit in front of him and has all season. I swear every time they play Ottawa they look like they went out to the titty bar all night the previous night.
Yeah, they are all super sloppy. Not interested in being physical...cant control the pucks, making bad passes. Rough game to watch.
The Ottawa coach needs to be fired. Sens fans should be asking why their team plays like an elite team every time they play the Rangers but when they face the rest of the league they are a little above mediocre. To me that's coaching. With the talent on that roster, they should not be struggling any longer to make the playoffs.
Their GM should be on the hot seat also. I mean, he needs to get his head out of his ass and get them a legit goalie. They reached for Boucher in the draft when there were two first round goalie talents there. Rangers, I can see not drafting a goalie in the first round given their goalie coach and their knack for finding franchise goalies not in the first round. The Sens however, are goalie stupid and needed to take one in the draft that year. The only deal I see out there for them goalie wise is for Saros. He's 28 and Nashville took a Askarov 11th overall. He's had over a year of AHL experience and seems ready. Saros is a UFA after next season. Nashville'a centers suck and they are old. So I would think they would take a chance on something like Pinto, Boucher and Joseph for Saros. If you are the Sens you have to attempt to fix your goalie situation immediately. Pinto was a gambling deal. Maybe he will get a clue. Joseph is a good role player who I could see them getting a first rounder for at the deadline if they didn't want to keep him. Boucher, who knows. Either way, they aren't signing Saros long term with Askarov and the entire league knows it so his value will be diminished a little bit.
Not that losing to Ottawa is ideal but I’ll take winning two out of three with all these three games in four nights on the schedule.
