other than that, Blazers only 10 turnovers but outrebounded by 10 and outscored by 16 on FT's. Tough to win with that big a gap at the line and on the glass

speaking of Warriors...I think their window has shut completely

That April game against the Dubs is a loss you can count on. I think Malcolm should be traded tomorrow if he can pass a physical. With that said, we might win at least one of those two upcoming December games against the Warriors, we'll probably get a win or two out of the games we have with the Wizards and Spurs, hell maybe even three wins in those games but just looking at our schedule and projecting what Joe will do with this roster by the trade deadline I think this month will contend with November as the month we get our most wins this season.

If you don't know, brace yourselves because I would be shocked if that tank isn't happening again this season.

You liked Simons taking over the offense?

Yeah, I think our back court of the future is Scoot and Shae. I think Ant should be moved but I'm not convinced Joe and Chauncey are on board with that, so that might be as painful as MeJ was. Hopefully Shaedon is so great it makes Joe pivot but I was hoping for that with Neil regarding CJ for way too long.

Game isnt all about the box score, learn the game then post. Toumani was a beast on Defense. I see the scoot flashes iono if everyone else does. Bari had lots of good plays too. We just got whooped by fouls. Some deserved some not so much.

We went away from what was winning games and it was like we were right back in the Dame/tiny lineup/iso offense. I don't like it. This is why I haven't been excited to get Simons back. I'm not at all in love with running Scoot/Simons/Sharpe.

last season, in ISO, Ant was in the 48th percentile; he was in the 80th percentile in spot-up

the year before, he was in the 28th percentile in ISO; and the 95th percentile in spot-up

so sure....let Ant go iso for long stretches...that will work out for lottery balls I guess

I was curious how they were going to use Ant. I just didn't expect him to take 27 shots and dribble away the 4th Q in his 1st game back....

it's not like the Blazer offense was good before tonight, but letting Ant try and dominate 1-on-1 sure isn't going to improve it

    I'd give value for him.

This doesn't work, but Id trade the assets from a Brogdon trade & the GSW pick back

Blazer broadcasting loved Anfernee's 28 point night. We need to do what we're told. It was an "incredible" performance. So many positive things to talk about.

This is not unusual considering Ant is from "old" team and has it ISO, no D habits. I hope he Billups fix him straight after this or trade him.

You never did learn the game before you posted did you? Guess not since you think you can make sweeping conclusions from a box score.

Shae got clobbered a couple of times on his drives, but no fouls.
He's paying his dues right now. He needs to chirp a little bit more to the refs. Next season he will be on the verge of all-star & those calls will come

I didn't think they'd start him right away or play him heavy minutes..... I guess I don't know Chauncey.

Billups ran a 4 guard lineup with SF Toumani at Center to close the game out. It was kinda weird seeing all the tall guys over on the bench rooting for their little buddies.

    Ant's D was passible tonight.
I was actually somewhat surprised once or twice when I saw a nice crisp well-timed rotation & then realizing it was Simons

Not saying it wasn't passible. I'm just saying where he's comming from and if it's fixable.

too bad Steph walked Ant down to the FT line and splatted the game over step back 3 ball. It was almost going to be a good defensive game by Simons.
