<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>From New York to ParisThink the Jets don't mind not having Matt Leinart when they read he's romantically linked with Paris Hilton? . . . By the way, we endorse the Jets' drafting of two offensive linemen in the first round, and applaud Jets fans who had the common sense to realize this is how you build a team . . . Smart move by Jets coach Eric Mangini to say right off the bat that it's a wide-open competition at quarterback, even if the reality is it's a two-man race between Chad Pennington and Patrick Ramsey . . . Leinart on getting away from the Hollywood scene: "I am so happy to be out of L.A. you do not even understand," he told Cardinals reporters. "I have dealt with everything you possibly can in that city." Two days later, word leaked out he and Hilton are an item . . . Cardinals incumbent Kurt Warner on thinking about being replaced by Leinart, just as he was by Eli Manning with the Giants: "Obviously, when you've been through an experience like that, it's always in the back of your mind. All I can ask for and all that's been conveyed to me is the best player will be on the football field."</div>

Things like this is why the Titans passed on him. That and the incredible amount of potential that Vince Young has, but that's a whole other discussion.
