I dont believe I was one of them who said the Yankees pitching sucked, but their rotation is nothing special either. Mike Mussina 5-1, 2.35 ERARandy Johnson 5-2, 5.02 ERAChien-Ming Wang 2-1, 4.83 ERAShaun Chacon 4-1, 3.94 ERAJaret Wright 0-2, 5.63 ERAOutside of Mussina, your entire rotation has really struggled, but in the cases of Johnson and Chacon they are getting bailed out by a ton of run support. The Yankees bullpen has been excellent so far though which has helped to drop the team ERA for the statistics you pointed out.

Just look at their WHIPRJ 1.16SC 1.44CW 1.46All with WHIP's under 1.5, and that's pretty good. Wright is the only one with a high WHIP on the starting rotation.
It doesnt really matter if they're letting an average amount of runners on base if there constantly crossing home.

honestly, all those #s are fine, but its wins and losses that matter and our pitchers are doing very well...i udnerstand that tahts also because of run support, but i still stand by that.
The cream always rises to the top and come September the Yankees and Red Sox will be fighting for the division. Same old story.
