I'm not sure that the DNC could do better than Biden, as far as policy goes. He seems to generally be good at finding the policies that are most popular. Or to put it another way, I don't think you can expect the DNC to change until and unless what the voters want changes. Where Biden falls down (ha ha) is in the charisma department. He's a friendly old goat like Reagan, but lacking Saint Ronnie's speaking abilities. And that definitely hurts among the I-want-to-be-entertained voters. barfo

Yes, he won the nomination last time despite his speaking style. By appealing to more primary voters than his competition. He's trailing in the polls at the moment because people want something new. As they so often do. Voters have short memories and very small reptilian brains. Maybe the polls will change. Maybe they won't. Doesn't matter, national general election polls mean very little except to the extent they influence, rather than reflect, voting behavior. We'll just have to wait and see who the few thousand voters that matter in WI and AZ decide we should have as President. barfo
Only 11 % of voters live in swing states and maybe half vote. Undemocratic electoral college ensures minority rule.
I don't understand why the news networks CNN & MSNBC and others give trump all the pub. Seems they dedicate so much to this guy and it only props him up. CNN home page, trump this trump that, they should all go silent on the dude.
Head of CNN said in 2016 Trump bad for country, good for ratings. Biden is boring. He just gets shit done without fanfare. Doesn't say outrageous things or boast of his greatness or make threats. Probably majority of the population don't know what he has done in office although it's a lot.
Gotta blame the Democrats for being pure shit at messaging. Too busy (as @Hoopguru said) shouting Trump this and Trump that. Like tearing Trump down is going to build Biden up. They need an immediate and strong blitz, highlighting every good thing Biden has done, along with pointing out (factually) that the Republicans are the ones taking away personal freedoms, NOT the Dems. Maybe the deplorable don't have any kind of money set aside but my own retirement accounts have made exponentially more money under Biden than they EVER made under Trump. and I know I'm not the only one. I do a fair amount of roadtripping, and the amount of infrastructure work being currently accomplished around this entire country is staggering (and the Democrats are letting the Republican who shit all over it take the credit!!!) Unions are making somewhat of a comeback, despite strong pushback from the Republican and their oligarch masters. As ugly and difficult as the Right has made daily American lives over the past four decades, there is still a lot of good shit getting done by the Biden Administration and they, the DNC and the honest media (assuming such a thing exists) needs to start leaning in hard on those facts. Stop letting ignorant, illiterate, racist Republicans control the messaging.
