Everyone that thinks 360 is the best system ever is really just not a gamer. They have like what, 15 games out for it right now? Who the hell releases a new system and in the next few months releases only a few games. The price for it was insane now that I've played it and the 360 itself just sucks. When it freezes it isn't the game, it's the actual system. Games blow, there aren't many games for it, and gameplay overall for every game just sucks. PS3 will be a guarantee rape.
I was thinking of getting the PS3 when it came out, but not for that price. I might get the 360 once the price drops. Hopefully that will be around the time the PS3 comes out, to compete with it.
PS3 isn't worth that much, many blue rate tech. dvd players are worth $1000 or more. I think 360 is going to be better cause of its online even if u have to pay for it. It is going to be more active and alot more features. PS3 is going to be free online like before and i think u need the adapter like the last one but the online isn't so great. PS3 is only comming out with like 10 games in the starting not 50. And the best out of the 10 is said to be medal gear solid. Also 360 is launching their chip to make the system not heat up and run smoothly. I have to say if x-box series wasn't around PS3 will not be like it is going to be. They have got all their ideas from x-box. xbox was the first to come with internal memory and online. Sony is catching on but still won't be good cause they really don't update their systems like x-box do. Also 360 is adding all the sega games into the live arcade and they are going to change online completely. So i would say buy 360, many people are only buying PS3 because it would be a good dvd player and the cheapest blue rate tech dvd player. Also the PS3 games are going to cost about 70-80 bucks cause the blue rate tech. cds hold more and is worth alot more. So if ur going to buy PS3 for gaming then prepare to spend alot of money on games and the system and maybe add ons that come out later on.

You don't need to buy a separate console ($100 I believe, grand total of $499 to have a console that can play future technology graphics) like XBOX to play HDDVD movies. Blu-ray disks can hold so much data, gamers will be able to buy a disc anywhere in the world and play it. Sony's goal for a game is $60, the exact same price as 360. I haven't heard 70-80 as of yet.Sony's online is now collaborative, much like XBOX Live and the future Nintendo Wii community. There is no need for adaptors cause the PS3 has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology, connecting all your technology together. I'll admit though, Live is great. Well-organized and good features despite the fact every single thing costs money.PS3's technology simply alone will blow XBOX out of the water. Real gamers love the best graphics (big reason why Dell XPS and other gaming laptops are selling extremely well). The Cell processor has 234 million transistors (Intel hit 200 million with Pentimum Extreme Edition Processor last year), meaning extremely fast load and processor times. The Cell also allows new audio effects, previously only available on computer games. Computer saavy people can program their PS3 to their own settings using C or C++. Sony's graphics card has 300 million transistors, translating to almost futuristic HD capabilities. Even older HDTVs will not to able to fully process Sony's raw power.PS3s appeal probably won't be to the casual gamer. I would assume the Wii would attract more casual gamers. But to the huge community of regular gamers, Sony's reputation, name, and technology will sell a lot of consoles itself.I will say PS3 has a lot of catching up to do domestically, but worldwide, Sony is the preferred brand. 100 million PS2s to 50 million XBOX. In Europe, the PS2 outsold the 360 this holiday season and I don't need to talk about Japan. Not exactly what Microsoft was hoping. Honestly, Microsoft, in the video game field, is only embraced by the U.S.

This gaming nerd that goes to my school says that Microsoft and Nintendo are going to like join together for sales this year just to slap Sony in the face ('cause Sony deserves it). Their main thing is going to be that you can buy a 360 and a Wii for less than one PS3.
If Sony's track record for the past 10 years internationally means anything, Playstation will outsell the competitors 2:1.Microsoft quite simply doesn't appeal to anyone besides us American citzens.Nintendo might be able to sell some in Japan but with the high-tech world of Japan, Nintendo's system is so weak, it's not much better than Gamecube. If people shelled out $250 and $300 for earlier consoles (N64, Genesis, PSOne, Saturn, Dreamcast, XBOX, PS2) and $400 for a XBOX 360 (500 if you want HDDVD movies), $600 isn't that much.Serious gamers will get PS3. Huge movie fans and home theater freaks will get PS3 because of Blu-ray quality movies that PS3 can crank out. The pure power of PS3 will appeal to casual gamers.

Wii made a very strong impression at E3.I'll buy this system because of the price and the Nintendo expertize.Did you take a look to Madden 07 on Wii? I'm sure it will be fun
I wouldnt get Madden 07 for Wii next year. There will be a shitload of bugs that will take time to configure and fix.
The price will be worth every cent. But I'm just not sure if anyone will be able to afford and give up that much cash for a video game console.
I'm still trying to budget some money to get at 360 sometime this summer. I don't feel like giving up a kidney buy a PS3.
If you can afford a gaming laptop like a XPS or a HDTV with HD programming monthly, a PS3 isn't even a scratch.
PS3 is going to be the main next generation system without even hearing much information about the 360 i knew itd suck because its been rushed. The ps3 they have actually been taking they're time gettign every last detail right and now once it comes out its going to blow away 360 sales. I plan on getting one the day it comes out but i never even considered a 360. If you have an xbox and are considering a 360 do this. Keep the xbox and wait for ps3 then buy that. And for the $600 ps3 thing thats like a pakage version theres also a standard $500 one.

haha have fun selling it.everywhere you can get one these days. the price will drop soon, in fact, wouldn't be surprised if it was this summer.
