    I'd rather have seen a trade that sent Ayton somewhere else....like Indiana for Myles Turner. They are the team that gave Ayton that offer sheet

    and LOL at the notion that taking on Ayton was the price of getting Camara

    the OKC lining up for an inbound and foul, with zero Blazers back to guard the rim. It was during the 2022 tank. I honestly think Billups forgot which basket his team was supposed to defend.

    When the trade happened no, Ayton was not the price of getting Camara. Now though....yes because Ayton is a bust.

    I 100% agree the Blazers lucked into Camara.

    I'd still rather Ayton/Camara than Nurk/Little.

    I thought tonight you were saying he needs to be at PG where he can be effective, but in my memory, when Brogdon was playing PG, you weren't thrilled with how he played PG. Am I wrong?

    I don’t understand people who are so upset about Ayton. We didn’t draft him first overall. We got him from the suns for two scrubs and Nurk. It was a low risk, high reward trade. Who cares if he’s inconsistent and mediocre? We have him for a few more seasons and if we let him walk we aren’t out anything. We got Camara out of the trade. Clearly Schmitz wanted him. People acting like we stumbled into Toumani.

    what difference does that make?

    I gave an opinion of Ayton as a player...that he's overrated and overpaid. That had nothing to do with Camara

    Again, what does that have to do with whether he sucks? I can hate iso ball and still agree that someone doesn’t suck, no? I have been frustrated with Simons but I don’t think he sucks.
