You're the one making a "false equivalency" by comparing a rally, in which a small minority got out of hand to an "insurrection". Insurrection in the context of the 14th amendment was referring to the Civil War. Give me a break...

If you are a public leader and you assemble a mob and direct it to attack the capital building while Congress is in session to enact a presidential handoff according to the will of the people, you are guilty of insurrection.

That’s a direct quote from Trump on January 6. You can say what you want about his claims of election meddling all you want and say they are bullshit, it’s fair for you to hold that opinion. At the end of the day it’s not illegal for him to have said those things though.
As far as insurrection and incitement, it just didn’t happen, not even close. You are perpetuating a lie by suggesting his statements could in any way be construed as incitement to an insurrection. He in no way told people to overthrow the government or storm the capitol. It simply did not happen.

He still is spouting his big lie. He called the Governor of Georgia to "find" him thousands of votes...yep..it happened. He also made some other statements about marching on the Capitol on Jan 6th you swept under the rug but it suits your narrative to ignore the actual events because you want to seed doubt and conspiracy from the dems in a big way for some reason. Your dislike of Trump, which I truly don’t think is unfounded, doesn’t equate incitement, insurrection or justify removing people’s right to vote for him. I’ll say again, Trump is abrasive, annoying, cocky and just about every other form of off putting that drives people on the left up the wall. That quote was 187 minutes from the capital attack. Yes. Over 3 hours after, when it was clear congress was not going to be destroyed.

Which is his only defense in this whole thing, and flies completely in the face of what he'd been saying for months prior.

On Jan 6th, prior to the attack, Trump had urged his supporters to “get rid of the weak Congress people” — “get the weak ones get out. This is the time for strength.”

He went on: "You don't concede when there's theft involved. Our country has had enough. We will not take it anymore."

"You will have an illegitimate president. That is what you will have, and we can't let that happen."

He said: "We're going to walk down to the Capitol and we're going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we're probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them."

Then the mob went and attacked the capital building, while Congress was in session to confirm the transfer. They went, but Trump doe not. Even though he told them he was going with them.

You can backtrack and watch his speeches, see his actions..better yet, listen to the Republican witnesses from the Jan 6th committee or Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Adam Kinsinger.....they weren't leftists by any stretch...I'll guide you to the Jan 6th testimonies and leave you there....listen carefully to the election workers in Georgia, the Governor of Georgia and Bill Barr, his own right hand man. Ask any of the generals he fired in his rages or most of his cabinet members.the Capitol Police who dealt with the riots....his lawyers have already copped plea deals from his lies. I don't need to feed you articles as you've seen them already. Choices.You've apparently drawn a line in the sand after burying your head in it.

 

You left out the incitement and insurrection part. Listing a bunch of benign quotes and trying to pass them off as ominous dog whistles is just silly and it isn’t convincing. Most of these quotes are bland political platitudes you’ll hear from any politician left, right or center. Once again, there is no proof here of inciting an insurrection.

You can choose to not watch the jan 6th testimonies or the election fraud case in Georgia if you want...that's on you. I gave you directions but you're young enough to do a Google search. Can't make you go there and listen though. Who did you vote for in the last two elections or did you even vote? Curious.

 

The simple fact that he continues to push a blatant lie (for which there is absolutely NO evidence to support WHATSOEVER) for over three years should be disqualifying in and of itself. All politicians lie out their asses, but this is different. He is telling ME to MY face that I am stupid and corrupt when he and I both know that that is a lie. It might surprise some to hear, that I don't even like Trump, but I could see plainly, that the rhetoric that started to get spun up about him after he won the nomination was propaganda. He went from being a popular TV host to being compared to Hitler yadda, yadda, yadda.

His fake elector scheme and asking Pence not to count the votes was not a good thing, but to say he launched an "insurrection" is ridiculous. The protest on Jan 6 was not an insurrection. How many shots did they fire? Look at the video of them casually being lead around the capital by officers, video the establishment didn't want the public to see, because it gives a counter to their narrative.
