    Wrapped presents for hours last night/this morning. Waiting for my son to get up. He said, he would be up at precisely 6am...still not up yet.

    Mom used to make these with cherry flavor and no alcohol for us when we were younger, then make rum balls for the adults. I think she used powdered sugar though.

    I got a cold. Doesn't happen often but one of the guys who installed my new kitchen counters last week was sniffling, and breathing sawdust probably didn't help. Saturday ran through every tissue in the house, was on my second roll of toilet paper when I begged a box of tissues from a neighbor. Stores are packed, the thought of half an hour in line while snorting into toilet paper just wasn't appealing.
