I’m just hoping for two top 10 picks.

I honestly think the Wizards will string together more wins than us from now until the end of the season and we'll duck into third in the lotto which is the same as first. We'll trade a player or two that help us win games against really bad teams and then we'll likely shut Ant down since he likely won't get traded, Deandre will get shut down... I think there's a chance that if he gets going too well that we'll shut Shaedon down as well and just let Scoot run the team with a bunch of second rounders and undrafted guys... that's assuming we don't get another guy who was drafted in the first round in a trade that needs a lot of reps. Oh and Kris should get a ton of run over the last 30ish games of the season.

We have the three games against the Spurs and one against the Pistons and we should be favored in all four of those but we've lost the two games we've been favored in so far this season. I'm sure we'll pick up a few wins between those games and a game that we really shouldn't between now and the deadline but after that I wouldn't be surprised if we only win one or two more.

I guess the trade deadline will be telling in a little less than six weeks. Maybe we get froggy and jump at some trades a little sooner.

The NBA is trying to copy the NFL, when they do the Monday night football talk show during the game. Personally, I prefer just to watch the game.

I don't get how they measure this. They can't know the record of the teams we will play in, say, April - so are they just assuming that all teams will stay exactly as strong as they are now?
I'm assuming they measure it "objectively" - that is, the strength of schedule depends entirely on the record of the other team. A better way to do it would be "relatively" - so it's not the record of the other team ALONE that matters, but how that record relates to Portland's. That would mean that sucky teams have hard schedules. Perhaps that is the system, which would explain why we have the hardest.

Blazers only have one more game left with the Pistons so that means our schedule is harder than teams with 2, 3, or 4 games left with them.

It is quite telling that I have already forgotten that they played Detroit earlier this year.

Booker calls out Metu for lazy ball, "Why aren't you runnin' back ?!? just turned the ball over and don't run back ?!?"

Suns could really use a PG like Malcolm Brogdon.

by the end of the season. He'll seek another team that is already good and try to gravy train there.

The problem is that his ass decimates rosters. He only did well in Golden State because they could sign him outright.

The Beal trade seems likely a mistake. KD to the Lakers.

The Suns will want back young players/picks. The Lakers don't have anything. I bet New York could put something together. Or Miami.
