this season, before tonight, Scoot had 222 points on 222 shots (balance!). He's 37% on FG's; 43% on two's; 25% on three's. His FG% at the rim is 52.3%. His TS% is .456. Those are really bad shooting numbers. He'll need to spend 2 or 3 off-seasons shooting thousands of shots. Might need to get him a shooting guru

It's odd because he is an absolutely elite FT shooter.

Can't finish with his left, so he tries a bunch of scoop reverses that have no chance of going in.

He surprised me with his speed and agility for his size. I wasn't expecting that. I see the intrigue now at least.

Well, not the outcome we were hoping for, but my nephew and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to @SharpeScooterShooter for the parking pass and when we went in to get a sign made and make it up to our seats (300 level) we were gifted a set of seats in 100 level row G….WOW!!! Not a Blazer win, but kinda a huge blazer win in my opinion (thank you Moda for being so cool). Rip city!!!!

It bodes well for the trajectory of his shooting. He's been shooting the 3 ball well for the past 10. He shot 43% from 3 tonight. His finishing is his biggest problem right now though it will improve. I remember when Dame's finishing sucked too.

I don't understand how guys can get to the pros and not know how to finish with both hands.... or dribble with both hands..... or dribble at all I guess.

He looked great in this game..he could have scored more but he dished out some nice dimes to Mo Harlkless. Kris is going to be a really solid two way player. People are sleeping on this kid, he's going to be good.

Pop has a cheat code player and he’s hard tanking to stay out of the play-in. it’s bizarre how they treat him like an accessory player and almost deliberately keep him away from tre jones. I guess it’s not puzzling as to the ‘why’, but seeing it in action is something else, man.

I’m glad that national media have started talking about it. The Spurs brass must be thrilled that the Pistons have allowed them to fly under the radar for the most part.

I would need to ask @wizenheimer but as I remember it, Dame finishing under the basket improved a lot last seasons. Wasn't it like he became good at it like not so long ago? So he wasn't that good at it for half of his career?

Amazing the difference in him just from now to summer/camp. Early on he looked uncoordinated/slow/lost to me, and I thought he had little to no chance, Looked like a different player last night as he moved well and looked like he very well might belong, this is some big improvement

Damian was bad at finishing his first 2 years 53% and 51%) that's about what Scoot is shooting. Scoot is also attempting about the same % of his shots from 0-3 as Dame did his rookie and sophmore year.

yes, he does, but his jumper from the 3-point land and mid range looked nice
