They need to strap his right arm down and make him play left handed for a month in the gym. Absolutely nothing right handed. he's been scouted and everyone knows he ain't shooting left.

yeah, that's accurate. But Dame was simply a lot better as a rookie in every other aspect of shooting:

    FG% at Rim: Dame .531....Scoot .500
    FG%: Dame .429....Scoot .367
    FG% on Two's: Dame .469....Scoot .412
    FG% on Three's: Dame .368....Scoot .268
    FT: Dame .844....Scoot .818
    eFG%: Dame .501....Scoot .412
    FG% at Rim: Dame .546....Scoot .459

    Scoot + Shoot = Brick

I can’t stand point guards who can’t shoot. Watching scoot playing basketball is not enjoyable. Trade him for a nice package and build around Ant and Sharpe

Maybe I am getting you mixed up with someone else, but didn't you complain about Dame........a PG who was an excellent shooter? Seems that you can't stand most PGs

    Saying this for years
    He's raw, undeniably raw.

He's also near the top percentile in bigs in pure athleticism. He not only jumps high, he jumps fast, he gets off the ground with amazing quickness. He's already wiry strong with the frame to put on more weight, he sets decent screens and is a terrifying prospect on the roll and his feet were quick enough to stay with Wemby or the guards he got switched out on.

This is why I wanted to draft him, why I was thrilled we signed him and then why I was disappointed when we briefly dropped him. When your team's rebuilding, this is the kind of project you stash on your roster. He's the $billion lotto ticket. Probably won't hit but worth the small investment.

Yeah, it was awesome! I walked in and went to the office to ask for an upgrade and the guy said they don’t do that. I was like, ok…and just walked to go make a sign with my nephew and lo and behold a ticket member asked if I wanted 100 level seats for free. I was like…they said we couldn’t upgrade, thinking this was some kind of ploy, but she was like oh, well I can make it happen and here you go. Happy holidays! My nephew’s jaw dropped (as did mine) and that was that. Such an incredible experience and yeah, Wemby is huge and I felt like he could reach over to our row and slap us with his big hands. What a game he had too! Wow…

I was at a game a few years back, and at halftime the clerks roamed the upper deck asking if fans wanted to move down to open seats in the 100 level.

My buddy & I drifted down towards the expensive seats, and hyper-crazed Moda Center teenagers almost got in fist fights over the "elite" seats.

Anyways, though all the ruckus one solo youngster got bullied out of a good spot. We felt really bad. We were going to give the little guy our seat, then a gentleman in the front row heard all the yelling and said "forget this", and rapidly bailed out. We asked the guy if he was coming back, he said "nope, someone can sit there." We went over to the kid that had gotten shoved out the way by chair greedy jerks, and showed him his new courtside seat. The young kid was grinning ear to ear.

The good thing, is that we are seeing some steady improvement in Scoot, month to month. Dame was a much better rookie, but he was a Sophmore in college at Scoot's current age.

Scoot won't last long in the NBA if he doesn't increase those percentages.
