Nobody has ever explained how this happened, as far as I have seen. Why not Penn State, Ole Miss, Oklahoma or Notre Dame?
Orange bowl is ACC champion or highest ranked team vs a team from SEC, BIG10 or Notre Dame Georgia vs FSU Citrus Bowl is tied to the SEC and Big10 Iowa vs Tennessee Realquest Bowl is tied to SEC and Big10 Wisconsin Vs LSU Rose bowl and Sugar bowl are the playoff games, Which leaves the Fiesta bowl for the group of 5 team and Oregon. Kind of like the Rose bowl has always been tied to the Pac and BIG10. Fiesta bowl is the only one that doesn't seem to have any alliance to a conference. Now next year this will all change with the 12 team conference and the Pac basically gone.
by rule, at least one Group-of-5 team must appear in a new year's day game. It was Liberty's turn and the Fiesta Bowl drew the short straw
They’re seriously acting like they have been dominating us with 3 point wins the last three games. After we won like 15 in a row. I can’t wait to beat up on them next year.
Yeah some of my closest friends growing up are UW alums. They were still riding the coattails of the Don James era. They touted that co championship as if it made them an elite program.
What sucks is they’re on a verge of a national title and will always hold that against us no matter what
And that’s game. Wow get ready for a world where the huskies are national champions before the ducks even have 1 smh
