Paul + Kuminga + Moody for Siakam is what Warriors fans seem to want.
I'm not sold on those two guys as prospects. Their prospect window is closing. They are both below average shooters. Kuminga isn't really a standout defender, either, and is -59 in his last three games.
Moody has the Montverde connection to Barnes.
    Paul presumably would be rerouted.

Would they like Jerami instead? He's already locked in to a longterm deal and is a much better shooter than Pascal.

Crystal ball Crystal ball who will be a good player after all?
If their teams don’t get them playing well who’s to say they will ever play well?

Free haul for Toronto. Siakam would just go back next year as a free agent. As he has said he will. He's a renter. The only reason for a team to trade for him is to offload salary.

Multiple multiple picks (3+ better be coming back our way). I’m not really interested in Bridges at all.

yaaa, Dubs fans are slobbering over Siakam. They're throwing Coach Kerr under the bus, and telling everyone Kuminga needs a new home. How much he will thrive on the crummy Raptors. I think i heard something about Shams writing up his pre-deadline quick Warriors fix memo.

I look at it as the Warriors played one helluva game last night, and lost via a lucky halfcourt bank shot by Jokic. There's absolutely no need to panic in Golden State. They should trade Draymond for a new PF, because they definitely play better without him.

Oops, got my Mileses and Mikals mixed up. I don't see squeaky-clean Portland touching MILES with a bargepole.

As a Raptors fan, what do you think of Siakam? He seems maddeningly inconsistent. Is he actually good or just a tease? Is he actually better than Jerami Grant (well, apart from rebounding, because just about everybody's better than Jerami at that).

I'm not going to compare him to Grant since I didn't watch much of his career with the Pistons or with the Blazers.

Siakam is an outstanding player. He was cold for the first twenty or so games this year--adjusting to a new coach, new system, and having Scottie Barnes as the hub of the offence--but here is what he's been doing since December:

    36mpg, 25.9pts, .584/.409/.742, 5.7rpg, 4.8apg, 1 steal, 1.7 turnovers, with good defence.

I think if you look at the last five years of his career (All-NBA twice) he's been pretty consistent:

I think generally the knock on him is he isn't a #1A type player. He's suited to being the second best player on the team. That, and his three point shooting is below average.

On the upside, he's one of the best isolation scorers in the league, has a world-class "motor", and plays good defence. He keeps his nose clean as well.

He's gunning for another All-NBA this season in order to qualify for supermax, if I'm not mistaken. It's going to be near impossible due to Toronto falling so far behind. Even if Toronto does want to trade him they might re-sign him first and do it next year.

He's turning 30 but realistically has only been playing competitive basketball since he was 17. His mileage isn't that high. Should have several more peak seasons left.

I think the Dubs saw firsthand what having Siakam as the #2 on the team can do in the playoffs. I would tilt their opinion towards him for that reason, but as I said above I'm no expert on Grant.

Toronto has never signed a star UFA, IIRC.

The Hawks have given up 157 and 150 points to the Pacers this season. No wonder they’re about to blow it up in Atlanta.

The numbers prove he should be playing more. And if his camp doesn't say something it's going to cost him money. No different than the Nurk situation in Denver.

Young is as bad as Simons defensively and their backcourt is undersized like ours
