The 2024 Warriors pick came to Boston via the Marcus Smart trade with Memphis. Memphis had it. It was originally sent to Memphis in 2019 along with Andre Iguodala and cash, in order to facilitate the sign-and-trade of Kevin Durant for D’Angelo Russell.
Grant's rebounding sucks for a PF. LaMarcus Aldridge's career TRB% was 13.8%. No one complained about his rebounding.
thank you D'Angelo Russell !! The journey-man gun for hire landed us a decent 1st round pick this summer. Now he just needs to beat the Blazers a few more times to improve Portland's super duper pick.
Grant might be one of the lowest production rebounding 'power' forwards in the league. His career numbers are terrible for that position and now 13 times this season, he has had 2 or less rebounds in a game. He just finished the Nets game where he played 42 minutes with the 2nd least rebounds on the entire team with only Shaedon (who got 1) getting less.
He’s still just a hustle guy at the end of the day. I’d probably just swing on upside on Kuminga still. We can find someone like him in the draft.
"The Warriors are just being destroyed." Bob Fitzgerald, Golden State play-by-play announcer, nearing the end of the first half.
I wonder how thrilled Toronto would be about a Wiggins/Kuminga/Moody package based on what they saw tonight.
Down go the Warriors. Our pick from them is currently tied for 12th with the Lakers. While our own pick sits at 5th.
No one really respected his rebounding numbers and brought far more to the table. Still, LA only played one year of college ball and was showing signs of being a competent rebounder earlier. As said, this is year three for JK and he is getting outrebounded by guards.
Curry had a Lowry-esque shooting night. 0-9 from deep for the champ. Warriors should give him a couple rest days to recharge the batteries.
On another forum. I think Murray could be a decent rotation player, but there were several other prospects I wanted over him at the time.
A second 0fer from 3 for him in less than a month, after not having had one in, what, 5 years? Crazy.
Toronto had an odd stat tonight. How often does a team shoot better from the field than they do from the line? 58.5% from the field 45.5% from 3 57.1% from the line
draft day will be incredible. The Blazers will be stockpiling rookies. Portland owns 6% of the picks, compared to the normal allotted 3%.
