I’m ready to hunker down and enjoy some playoff football while the snow is coming down. Sounds like a perfect Saturday on an extended weekend

Expecting another storm tomorrow. Cold rain. Snow here would be major headline.

Uugg one of my vent covers came out and now I have a frozen pipe between the sink and the fridge. Not how I wanted to start my weekend. I had this happen a few years ago, had a vent I didn't know about hidden behind my dog kennel and had the same freezing issue. Hopefully it will thaw quickly with a heater in the crawl space, like last time.

Worried about this high surf advisory. Hope it doesn’t ruin my beach day. Makes it less fun to wade into the waves.

I have an outdoor thermometer I can check by looking out of the window. I hope it is broken. Because, right now, it shows the temp at 39 degrees below zero.

Are you sure that's not showing the score of the Blazers game?

Ha! Funny you should mention this. I triple checked before posting.

Did you know at minus 40, both C and F are the same?

Lol! No I didn’t. I knew 32 Fahrenheit is 0 Celsius but didn’t know the ratio going in either direction. So then does that mean that 32 Celsius is like 90 Fahrenheit? Spreading further apart the warmer it gets?
I thought it was simply a 1-1 change.

No idea how the ratio works. Had to look at the thermometer. Darn you are close. Looks like 32 C = about 88 F.

I was in Fairbanks when it was 58 below. Got stranded there as planes couldn't fly for several days. That was about 32 years ago and a Canadian C120 transport plane crashed at Ft. Wainright, frozen fog.

Wow. My quick mental math is still fairly sound! lol.

Stay safe and warm out there on your tractor. Enclosed cab by chance? If so I’d be in it all day!!! :)

No cab on the tractor, just a roll bar, which comes in handy at times.

No outdoor play today, hate to admit it, but I'm wussing out.

Staying on top of everything, so far, no issues. Have a generator on standby, if we lose power.
