There's literally no signs that Cuban is interested in leaving the Mavs. If he was, he wouldn't have kept control of the basketball operations/decisions after he sold

He didn't sell ALL his ownership shares of the Mavericks. Just the majority.
Since he's still partial owner in Dallas, he'd be ineligible to buy a competing franchise.
