On3s NIL estimations are real bad based off what I've been told from someone with Division Street. I would put very little weight into it

I was wondering about that, but it was exactly what I had guessed without even looking at it.

Got a long survey from UofO regarding expansion of the north side and upgrading some features of the south side.

Seems like a matter if when, not if this will happen.

Yeah our guys have already prepped the bids. That expansion is imminent. They need to get more seating and to do that they need more bathrooms. North Side of the stadium needs quite a bit of work. There is also talk about adding seating at the end zone areas.
This is the one I was hoping for but it won't be this extensive.

Edit- Remember they are also adding a practice facility.

tOSU has been working to try and dislodge Oregon from early favorite for B1G champion with some solid pickups lately

One of the smaller stadiums in the B1G.

We need an NFL 49ers vs Seahawks preseason game in Autzen.

    Or Raiders and 49ers.

Very true. I wouldn't expect expansion to add a lot more seats either (maybe 8-10k), but the amenities will be much improved.

We don't have the population to fill up a 100000 seat stadium.

Iowa, Purdue, and MSU have smaller populations with larger stadiums.

It’s also not about having 100,000 seats.

A factor would also be teams you’re playing.

I imagine Michigan, tOSU, Nebraska, Penn State and some other fan bases would travel really well to some games. I also imagine quite a few more locals would be more interested in going to a game against some of those “blue bloods”.

anything over 60k would be solid IMO

    Population density

If the expansion gets Oregon another 10,000 seats that'll put them at 64k or right about in the middle of the B1G.

    Like I said, I wasn't advocating for a 100,000-seat stadium - another 10k would be solid.

    Seems a little steep IMO.

Maaaaybe if they were closer to the heart of B1G territory.
