franz has way more value than ant. Even if we attached 3 picks to ant they would say no.

who has conceded that Ant isn't a PG? did Billups say something?

If people DON'T consider Ant for Franz, they're idiots. Orlando would not do that in a million years.

“The Pelicans are thought to be open to moving Herbert Jones. They're high on Jones, but it'll be difficult for the team to pay their stars, Jones and Trey Murphy III.”

yeah, from what I've seen, Ant is better at PG. At least he is offensively. Similar to CJ in that regard. The numbers at 82games support that notion. They also show that Ant is worse defensively at PG and that makes sense because Ant consistently gets beat by quickness; his lateral reactions are poor

and yes, Orlando would never consider trading Wagner for Ant. Wagner has much higher value. They might consider Wendall Carter Jr. + filler for Ant; not sure they'd add much draft capital to the deal though

Simons to Orlando for Wendal Carter Jr +Gary Harris?

Agreed. I'd prefer to keep Brogdon and trade Ant. Brogdon has a complete game whereas Ant is a shooter. Yes, he has the rare high assist game but overall, the team seems to function better with him off the court.

I would move him since I don’t think he’ll ever be healthy. Unfortunate given what he brings when he can actually play.

When is the last time Ant started at PG? Yeah, Orlando ain't giving up Franz for Ant. I would look at teams like Houston and Detroit who want to get better and have a slew of lottery talent. If you wanted Ausar Thompson and change I think you could get it for Ant.

I'd trade him depending on the return.

It's always funny to see different valuations across the league. An Orlando fan on the realgm board proposed Ayton and Simons for WCJ, expirings(Fultz, Harris, Isaac) Denver 1st and Orlando 1st both in '25. And here were lucky if we can get WCJ for Simons

Stein also mentioned that the Blazers have no desire to move Grant. So either this is some great posturing, or they're really waiting to be blown away.

I think Grant is one of the hottest players now available. Joe is posturing imho.

I'd be all for moving Grant if we realistically thin kwe can get Flagg in 2025.

Getting an unprotected 1st in 2025 or 2026 would be pretty huge. I just don't know anyone that's willing to give that besides a title contender.

But what good is an unprotected 1st if you have Luka, Kyrie, Grant and others on the team? It'll just end up being late teens/mid 20s.
