I expected hustle on a daily basis. Nothing more. It has been tough during December because the hustle and defensive grit wasn't there. Getting better now.

Wins and losses aren't important this year. Process is. And I can understand some frustration that could have been present for a month or so

Absolutely putrid call. If that was Lebron or KD taking that shot it would have been an and 1. Additionally, if that call was made in the playoffs that ref would be on full blast. But the truth is, they will not make that call against Lebron or KD and they will not make that call in the playoffs. Ridiculous.

Looks to me like a good call after review. He grabbed him on the way down to create contact. No Basket and an offensive foul is correct call the way I see it.

IMO, this should be a no-call.

Where's the foul? The only one I see fouling is Allen for jumping into DeRozan's space and atop of him.

    What's the reasoning here?

I get maybe getting it wrong as it happens, but after a review, I don't understand how they came to the conclusion this is a foul on DeRozan.

Eh, Allen jumped into him and came down right on him. DeRozan did briefly touch his arm on the way down, but barely, then tried to navigate out of the way. Seemed like he didn't want Allen falling on him. Maybe he should have just let him.

Over the last couple seasons, LeBron has actually been the victim of no calls. There have been a few games the Lakers have lost because LeBron was hacked and they didn’t call it. Also there was the game where LeBron’s foot was clearly behind the 3 point line but they only gave him 2.

    That's only $385k/year while he makes ~$7M/year.
    That's ~5% of his paycheck....
I have no problem with that.

Sure, but it seemed pretty incidental. Allen jumped into his space and came down onto him. As DeRozan came down from his shot attempt, his hand briefly touches Allen's arm. Not sure it's really a grab. It's very momentary and he doesn't hold on. He works to fall backwards and away from Allen, so Allen doesn't land on him. An offensive foul is a pretty flimsy call here. At best it's a no call. But, if it's a foul, it should be on Allen.
