OT Alaska Airlines plane loses ‘plug door’ over Portland; Officials say door may be in Cedar Hills area

Having made the round trip twice from Wilsonville (and now being required to be back there tomorrow at 0430) I still have my sense of humor.....barely. Alaska Airlines management has to be the biggest bunch of incompetent and disorganized boobs around. Communications within the organization obviously sucks on a whole 'nother level. And when, because of their fuckery, I ask for compensation for gas and parking fees, they offer me miles I will never use (okay, okay, so they aren't TOTALLY stupid). And it's the little guys (ticket agents etc) that have to eat all the shit despite doing everything in their power to make it right for the customer. There's a reason I like my road trips. And from here on out, Alaska Airlines can kiss my ass.........

Alaska Airlines just bought Hawaiin Airlines so those miles will come in handy.
 
UCD lied about having to be back at PDX tomorrow.

That flight was canceled and now my daughter won’t be flying out until at least Wednesday. They initially re-booked her on a flight through Seattle tomorrow but Seattle is not currently allowing unaccompanied minors on flights. We learned this Sunday when they got through security, waited two hours at the boarding gate and then when boarding said she couldn’t board. So I’m not sure why they'd re-book her through Seattle a second time, but when I called and told them of their error on this again, they re-booked for Wednesday. Comedy of errors. They’re clown town, brah.

Wheels finally up at 7:40 this morning! Third time was a charm..........though I lost my parking ticket and got soaked $30 for the privilege of leaving.....
 
They need some new bolt-tightening equipment.
