PLEASE SHUT THE HELL UP.1) Nobody cares2) You just make yourself sound dumber then you really are.I know its a day old but its not posted so...<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Porter: 'I got something to say to Bush' As he showed during Super Bowl week last February, Steelers linebacker Joey Porter isn't afraid to speak his mind. And apparently, that extends to the president of the United States.According to a report in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Porter has a bone to pick with President George W. Bush when the Super Bowl champion Steelers visit the White House on June 2."Yeah, I got something to say to Bush, I'm going to have a swagger when I walk in there, too," Porter said. "I'm looking forward to it. I have something to tell him, too. I don't like the way things are running right now. I feel like he has to give me some of my money back, so I got something to tell Bush."You may recall, Porter's comments during the days leading up to Super Bowl XL were the most inflammatory of the week. Porter directed most of his ire toward Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens, blowing Stevens' "guarantee" of a Super Bowl win way out of proportion."I don't think he is worth enough to talk like that," Porter said. "Personally, I think he is soft. That's just me. This is his fourth year in the league and you have never heard anything about him until right now. He is just starting to play."He was a first-rounder. You aren't too good if you are a first-rounder and you barely play for four years, and that is just my opinion. If you are a first-rounder, you are supposed to come in and play immediately. You are barely getting on the field in your fourth year? And he got on because somebody got hurt so I don't respect his game or anything he talked about."President Bush isn't the only chief that Porter has a few words for these days.Porter also took issue with Pittsburgh head coach Bill Cowher, who has repeatedly said that he doesn't believe the Steelers were the best team in the NFL last season, even though they won the Super Bowl."Everybody looks at it different, but that's not how I look at it," Porter said. "I feel like we definitely was the best football team."(Cowher) probably has a different outlook than I do. That's just my point of view on how I feel. But he's the head coach, he looks at it a whole different way. He breaks down film different ways than I break it down."</div>

http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/PIT/9445269 <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Steelers' Porter regrets comments on Bush Click here to find out more!NFL.com wire reportsPITTSBURGH (May 17, 2006) -- Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Joey Porter is backing off tongue-in-cheek comments that he plans to tell President Bush next month that he dislikes how the country is being run.During the Steelers' minicamp last weekend, Porter was smiling and laughing when he told reporters he had "something to say to Bush" during the Super Bowl champions' June 2 visit to the White House."I'm going to have a swagger when I walk in there, too," Porter said. "I'm looking forward to it but, like I said, I have something to tell him, too. I don't like the way things are running right now. I feel like he's got to give me some of my money back, so I got something to tell to Bush."The Pro Bowl linebacker issued a statement May 17 saying he regrets making comments that some apparently construed as serious."I regret that my quotes about our team's upcoming visit to the White House were taken out of context," Porter said in a statement issued by the team. "I am very excited to have an opportunity to visit the White House and meet the president of the United States."Porter also said his comments were not meant to suggest he disapproves of Bush or the job he is doing."We will be guests of the president and I would never do anything to disrespect him," Porter said in the statement. "I consider our upcoming trip an honor and a dream come true. Our entire team is looking forward to visiting the White House and enjoying what promises to be the opportunity of a lifetime."Porter has long been one of the NFL's most outspoken players on a variety of subjects. He created a stir before the Super Bowl by saying Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens was "soft" and didn't pose a problem for the Steelers.Stevens scored Seattle's only touchdown in the Steelers' 21-10 victory, but dropped several passes during a mostly ineffective day by the Seahawks offense.</div>

Someone definately got to him...There's absolutely no way you can take his intial quotes "out of context." They were abrupt and clear. To back off that easily and say all that stuff about how he wasn't disrespecting the President, it had to be coerced.

If the outcome of Bush vs. Porter ended up like McNabb vs. T.O., Porter would lose and get thrown in jail, just like T.O. lost and got thrown over to Dallas... haha
