<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>As for Dwyane Wade, it's very likely he will be offered -- and accept -- a maximum five-year extension worth an estimated $80 million when he's eligible to do it between July 12 and October 31. Asked Tuesday if that's his inclination, he said, ``It's not on my mind yet. It's great they will . . . look to me [early]to be offered that kind of contract, but . . . my agent and I haven't talked about it yet. I've had a great three years here, and it has gone by fast. To be going into a summer and it's time for contract talks, it's kind of strange.'' If Wade surprisingly doesn't sign an extension -- and no team could offer him as much as Miami -- he could become a restricted free agent after 2006-07 and unrestricted after 2007-08.</div>

When you're that rich, so and so being richer than so and so doesn't make all that much of a difference. They are loaded, no matter what.

I still think Basketball players in general are the most overpaid athletes. But good for him, I guess.

Wade, LeBron, Carmelo, Bosh, even Hinrich are all going to be signing some pretty nice contracts. That was a pretty good draft year.

Wade definatley deserves that kind of money because he's done so much for his team so it would be a shame if they don't re-do his contract but like he said it's a long way to go so we'll see what happens
