Not sure it was the Blazers as much as it was Ant and perhaps Brogdon.

Blazers had Scoot mic'd up. They wanted to hear his amazing cheerleading skills on the sidelines.

That was my point the other day. These are still NBA teams that can beat anyone on any given day. The Spurs were playing their regular rotation players while we were playing guys that have spent the majority of their seasons in the G-League. Yet you expected Ant and the Remixers to beat them. That’s delusional. I mean there was a point that game where had to play Thybulle and Minaya at point because we didn’t have any other players.

And tonight, did Ant struggle scoring? Yes. But to blame the loss entirely on him is delusional. In the past, if he wasn’t scoring, he would be useless. But tonight he was able to get 8 assists and 7 rebounds.

Just two years ago this guy was talking about Ant speeding up the timeline for trading Dame, and now he's crapping on Ant.

This stuff is like clockwork. Sharpe and Scoot, you're next up once Ant is traded and you're holding back someone who is a junior in HS right now...

And tonight what is your excuse? And ever since Ant came back what's your excuse? He's been a net negative to the team game ever since he came back but you keep twisting yourself like a pretzel trying to say it has nothing to do with him.

Calling anyone delusional without taking a look in the mirror is laughable and not serious.

from what i can tell, Portland is the only NBA team that uses their entire G-League team as their 2nd unit. Cronin's stealth tank lost it's muffler. The losses can get loud with 5-7 rookies on the court.

Did Ant struggle scoring tonight? Absolutely. But he contributed in other ways. He had 8 assists and 7 rebounds. His gravity on PNRs was setting Ayton up and DA had a great game. In previous years, if he wasn’t scoring, he was useless.

Ayton only Blazer that hit neutral +/-
everyone else had negative influence against the Bulls. That's hard to do in a game that was relatively close.

didn't watch the game....question: Camara only 3 minutes...did he get hurt?

    the foursome of Brogdon-Grant-Ayton-Ant averaged 37 minutes...why?

Precisely. Yet this dude expected Ant and the Remixers to win.

    Billups wants to win, dammit

    game summary:
Andre Drummond (7ppg avg) outscored Anfernee Simons by 4.

Anferno has great nights, he was amazing in San Antonio. The Bulls have much better SG defenders, so Ant kept getting stymied tonight. It wasn't the worst game ever by Simons.

The Blazers need a lot more firepower to look better and win more often , sometimes, occasionally. Young team, inconsistent, tonight the Blazers shot 6-33 from deep (18%), but played scrappy ball and cut it to 3 midway through 4th.

    that's kind of misleading though

240 minutes in a game. Brogdon-Ant-Grant-Ayton-Thybulle played 179 minutes combined.

    Grant - 10th season
    Brogdon - 8th season
    Ant - 6th season
    Ayton - 6th season
    Thybulle - 5th season

So, 5 players who are on average in their 7th season played 75% of the minutes tonight. It just doesn't make any sense to me what Portland is doing this season

the other GM's helped Cronin assemble this lineup. "Go get 'em tiger"

Joe didn't hear the laughter and high fives after the meeting.

That might be the case at the end of the day, but this team is so lacking in other talent, that there would be nothing to benefit from his departure.

Cronin has to do something, get Brogdon and Grant off the Team and clear the runway for Scoot and Shaedon ffs

Was pissed when DA made a sweet block and sprinted the length of the court, raises his hand for the ball (wide open), and Malcolm chucks (clanks) a three instead.

Brogdon, yes. Start Simons and Sharpe the rest of the season. Grant, we have no one to replace him with. I don't see any urgency in trading him. Just wait for a nice package.
