<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Seahawks.com reports the Seattle Seahawks have officially signed head coach Mike Holmgren to a two-year contract extension that runs through the 2008 season. "We believe we've locked up what we think is one of the finest coaches in the National Football League, not just now but in the history of the game, and we're very fortunate," Seahawks' general manager Tim Ruskell said. "It's a great day for the organization, and especially for our fans."</div>

58 years old isn't too old for a coach... I guess I'm just used to having a coach who's in his mid 60's.

Man, family is important and all, but I think the majority of coaches in the NFL have had to deal with the same thing, or have kids growing up now as well.

Good signing. He is a great coach and seems to like it in Seattle. He has won a Superbowl in the past and just took Seattle to it this year.
Good thing they resigned him. He's a great coach and he'll most likely retire once the two years are up.
