Even with his unbelievable made shots, watching Ant pound the air out of the ball while 4 others wait around is not my idea of good basketball. I thought the past couple games he looked much better at managing the ball... And then tonight.

This game was far more competitive than I anticipated. Great to see Scoot play well!

 

Well it was definitely Scoot's best game. Don't need Brogdon (or Simons) when Sharpe comes back.

 

Uh, they’re just spamming the Jokic Murray pick and roll until they get the switch. There’s literally nothing we can do about that except switch personnel.

Good game for POR. Hung with them but DEN is clearly the better team, as expected.

This feels like the first game where both Ant and Scoot played well.

I like Malcolm, but I really hope he’s gone by next Thursday

 

Jokic is unfair. All game it looked like he wasn’t even trying hard. He looks like me when I scrimmage with my daughter’s 9 year old team that I coach. As long as he is on Denver they have to be the favorites to repeat.

we are in a zone. And have Ayton on the wing instead of the middle. Any Jokic/Murray pick and roll is being run right in the middle of the court.

 

It's hard to win in Denver period. Harder without your leading scorer. Even harder without a starting center. Do we know when Ayton will return?
