This one is easy, just because of the experience factor. Torre has some 22 seasons on Randolph, and his work shows it.Edge: Torre.The Tech SupportRick Peterson vs. Ron GuidryPeterson, with no big-league experience, can break down pitching mechanics like a scientist, while Cy Young Award winner Guidry essentially believes that stuff is for wimps. Cano is just a contact hitter.

Mets win 7-6 in the bottom of the 9th.Both the starters sucked. Johnson went 5 and Gonzalez only went 3 innings, both struggleing all game long. Mets bullpen was dominant, Oliver, Heilman, and Wagner gave up 0 runs in 6 innings. Mets hit Rivera well, LoDuca with a 1 out Double and then David Wright with the Walk Off RBI.Great Game (If you're a Mets fan)
Red Line series ("L" series for those who don't live in Chicago)> Better than Subway series. BTW - Is there one subway train that connects Shea and Yankee stadium, like there is in Chicago, where you can hop on the L and take the Red line b/t the parks?

damon has got to catch that fly ball by Wright....dive or do something you stupid douche......and the Mets arent better than the yankees..im sorry, but we are missing two hitters (gary Sheffield and Hideki MAtsui) and Posada had to leave the game early. Not to mention, that essentially, our worst pitcher pitched that game.and whoever suggested not to start Randy, we have to...we are paying him too much to have sit as our long reliever or as our 5th starter

Once Wright hit that ball that far, Damon didnt have any chance of bringing it in. Although he did a pretty good job of trying. Your worst starting pitcher pitched that game? Our #8 Starter (Pedro, Glavine, Trachsel, Bannister(DL), Zambrano(Out For Year), Maine(DL), Lima, Gonzalez) was pitching. I dont see how you can complain about sending Randy Johnson to the mound against a teams #8 Starting Pitcher. I guess injuries are only crippleing when they affect the Yankees now, right?
