I have beef with this. I have never liked how music has been almost overshadowed by the performers appearance. I listen to good music for the music, not what the writer/performer looks like and I think it takes away from good music. I understand that performing live also has a visual connotation to keep in mind, but It really shouldn't. Never been a Big Dolly fan either. For a minute I thought she was lip syncing.
