Read an article that he wants to keep his 2024 first rounder since the NHL draft is at the Sphere in Vegas. :)

Honestly, to keep or trade any player or draft pick should be up to the GM, not ownership. Never been a fan of owners who insert themselves in team operations.

I've long been anti-Dolan even before all of these sexual assault allegations surfaced. But yeah...it won't be a sad day for me when he is no longer owner of the Rangers/Knicks.

Huge fan of ownership inserting himself here because Drury clearly is an incompetent, dumb fuck. So have been our prior GM's. Just look at all the moronic NMC and NTC's which this team gave out when they shouldn't have given out any. If you don't want to play for this organization and keep your job by your results, go fuck yourself, we'll trade you.

And who hires these GM's and Presidents - Dolan.

Dolan inserted himself because he wants a 1st round pick with the draft being held at the Sphere in Vegas which he owns. If you cannot see that is typical Dolan, and a totally ridiculous reason to insert himself as an owner, you are lost. And if the response is, who cares what the reason is, the result is maybe the pick doesn't get traded, then you are lost again because he should fire Drury if he doesn't trust him. Either way it shows yet again Dolan is a joke. The Knicks and Rangers have been awful under his ownership, he is terrible.

I’ve wanted Dolan to stay out of the picture for years. Now, with moron Gorton and Drury, I have no issue with him getting involved. Drury has been inept since day one on the job. He’s already pissed away several picks on trades that did squat or getting rid of a player.

In case you're not grasping it. If Dolan is sticking his nose into the Rangers it's because he thinks his GM is a moron. I would not be surprised if Drury is fired at the end of the season and J.D. is brought back as the GM and President. He should never have left.

Remind me who fired Gorton. And remind me who said "If you fire this guy I'm outta here."
I could be wrong but I'm fairly certain it was the bumbling, know-nothing, bag of shit James "Thanks, Dad!" Dolan. Kudos to JD for walking away from a fucking loser like Dolan. There is zero (0.0%) chance JD would ever consider coming back to the Rangers in that capacity.

Also, turns out Davidson didn't quit. He was fired. By asshole face, James Dolan.

Drury is light years better than that jackass Gorton and his shocker picks, Andersson/Kravstov 2 wasted #1s. Funny how you were lauding Drury at the end of the season last year for taking the time to listen to grievances from soft half assers and agree that it was the coach's fault.

In addition to this, who hired Drury...that's right it was Dolan. He is a terrible owner for the Knicks and Rangers, and always has been.

I don't believe that. JD said that if Gorton goes, he goes. So, it might have appeared as if he was fired but basically he made Dolan look like the bad guy. If you read every story back then, Dolan absolutely didn't want JD to go. JD was a stubborn douchebag in supporting a guy that did nothing but draft Euro pussies his entire time here.

Dude, stop defending James Dolan. You complain endlessly about how the team hasn't done jack shit for the last 85 years. Who do you think has been running the show for the last quarter century?! The fucking shit-stain, douche nozzle named James Dolan. The guy who turned two premier sports franchises into irrelevant wastelands.
Believe what you want but all reports indicate that JD was fired. And again, there is no scenario in which JD would consider a return...not while Dolan is breathing.

Dude, do your research and remember how the story went. He’s the one who brought JD back here. He didn’t want to get rid of him if you think so you’re just on fucking crack. As far as Dolan, if you look at the success the Knicks are having, and then the success the Rangers have had for quite some time you could do a lot worse imbecile. I don’t doubt he’s a scumbag, but I don’t give a shit at least the teams are respectable. Granted the Knicks took a while to get it right but some teams like the Jets don’t ever get it right. Now neither team has won a championship in a long time so I’m not happy but I don’t blame the owner so much as the fucking dumbass general managers. Problem with almost every owner is they don’t really know who to hire as far as general managers. One of my biggest complaints with Dolan is that he should’ve told the Rangers general managers that we have a no movement clause policy. We don’t give them out.

JD was an arrogant cocsucker. Fact. He thought he could tell the owner of the team that he had to keep the general manager and he was fucking wrong. Gorton was an incompetent, Euro pussy lover. JD was too arrogant to think Gorton would change. I love JD but he was in he wrong.

Ownership specifically instructed JD to toughen up the team, instead he and Gorton did nothing and one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen as a longtime Rangers fan occurred when Wilson rag dolled Panarin. Finding a goon is easy, Drury found an over the hill one in Reaves who was still effective. The Rangers are missing that now.
